What does it take to go E85? Advantages/Disadvantages?

Not a hater, just rather people do it right :) Plus, corn based ethanol production is just stupid. It uses just as much energy as conventional fuels. Now sugar cane based ethanol is far better because of the higher sugar content. Sounds way too much like the "I deleted my EGR (or other mis...

    Rear BBK anyone?

You don't want to the rears to lock up before the front, that's all there really is to it. Not really, as the issue is more complex than that because of weight transfer to the front during braking. One of the main reasons ABS brakes are better than normal.

What does it take to go E85? Advantages/Disadvantages?

Nope, it's mixed to get the same octane rating, but has less energy. Small motors are also more sensative to the mix. Lawn care equipment is especially prone to issues from it :(

What does it take to go E85? Advantages/Disadvantages?

Well, gasoline without ethanol gives you better gas milage. I've also found it runs better... Actually you might want to read your manual... Not to mention it's a good idea to change out the lines anyway because of age.

If you've done it all correctly, testing on a stand isn't necessary. Hell, I'd go so far as to say it would take more time than just dropping it in the car...

So far as I can tell, the ignitors are the same. Honestly gauges are fairly sensative so you may have either damaged them or thrown them out of wack (if it's 400rpm off, you probably moved the needle by accident)

Tell me more about GMC Typhoon...

Yep, it's all about the holeshot :) Foot on brake, give it a little gas to build boost from the torque converter, let off brake and floor the gas and it just takes off. In the end, it's still an S-10 pos... It's kinda like the neon and SRT-4...yet worse.

Buy the gasket from the dealer, it's a metallic gasket unlike the paper gaskets everyone else makes (I'm looking at you fel-pro)

    Where did the AFM go?

The main advantage of a MAP based system in a boosted application is that if you blow a charge pipe, your can still drive the car home.

Driveshaft Decision. I'm torn. Advice from experienced?

Lightweight flywheels WILL show on a dyno because they ramp up quicker. It's they way dynos function, but you're not really making more power.
