I used to be on the remove abs bandwagon about 3 years ago. I've since jumped off the bandwagon because our cars handle WAY better with abs.... Period.
Far more realistic to get 300hp out of a 4.0 n/a v8. If you get the right year, they come with over 250 hp/tq at the wheels without a tune, and the stock tune is pig rich, so tuning to 300 n/a would be fairly cheap/easy to do.
here's the odd thing, the first car I started the swap on was a 89 gte automatic targa top. The engine had almost zero clearance, then when I switched chasis to the 87 gt manual hardtop I would swear I gained a inch and a half of clearance.... Same mounts, same everything.... Maybe there's...
