meh, put a ls1 in it, 200 lbs lighter than the 7m and it's v8 power @ over 350 hp at the wheels before even doing anything to it. Drop in a cam, 400 hp add a tune, 470hp. and for less than you will spend getting a 4 cylinder to 300hp.

I believe it's 1.2 pulses per revolution for the supra. Only reason I know this is because I had to get a supra speedo to work with a t56 that had a 17 pulse per revolution signal. 'm sure IJ has had to deal with the same issue, you might check wit hhim also.
