You have BHG. The hard start then running fine is another sure sign.
What happens is the coolant system remains pressurized for a period after the engine is off and combustion chamber pressure is no longer keeping the coolant from leaking in. Coolant won't mix with gasoline and starting is...
Oil filter is stuck on the block adapter? Be ready for oil and stab it on the side with a screwdriver and turn :) A filter relocation kit is well worth the effort and makes oil filter changes more pleasant.
Plug wires aren't touching eachother or grounding out on the engine? Coil pack chassis grounded? Timing advance isn't set too high at levels over 75% throttle/load?
Try grounding the AEM, DLI and ignitor to the same point to eliminate a ground loop/noise.

If you do manage to make it slip, the 6 puck disc is cheaper and a step up...
I'm happy with the ACT Stage 3 from Driftmotion.
Pedal stiffness is maybe 15% more than stock. Engagement is touchy/grabby but breaking it in will smooth it out. Somewhat streetable on stop and go traffic on steep city streets AKA San Francisco.
Hope that helps

Go with the DriftMotion intercooler, fast install, cheap, and more than enough flow to out do the ct26. Not to mention throttle response improvement :o

Bright shiney things on top keep a casual observer distracted
And if you know something, you may ask why is there a 4" filter on there?
And i want to thank Adjuster for the idea to move the PS reservoir where it is ;) Took some a lil modding of the oem bracket, and a custom 90* bracket...
