This was just a preliminary test using water because its cheap, but I'm on it as it would suck to have my work time and money go out the window like that.
Redline Waterwetter for 4-stroke gasoline engines is what I'm using, as it works.
I have Toyota Red antifreeze waiting to go in...
2 weeks and 5 tanks of gas later, no heating problems still.
My fan shroud busted (age), but with the new PWR radiator sitting in there, it hasn't mattered. I'm running one bottle of water wetter and distilled water. I've driven pretty hard on a stock setup without issue.

Cliff notes:
I used a vacuum and water to flush a paper wad out of the block's water jacket.
disclaimer: BY NO MEANS ARE THESE RECOMMENDED METHODS WHEN OPERATING ON A 7M
What happened:
I was prepping the block deck and needed to seal off the water jacket, bolt holes, and oil galleys. I...
You should have a "Not blown No prep OEM HG" option
I am doing a HG job now.
I will use a felpro composite to unmachined surfaces for stock boost.
My headgasket never blew. It started seeping very slowly last year, and was held off by a retorque at the time until a few weeks ago when the...
They just appeared at the doorstep one day, so I opened the box not knowing what it was:

I'd like to point out that with STOCK supra foglight/headlight wiring, if you drive with the low beams and want fogs, you get'em. BUT, as soon as you ask for High beams via toggling the stalk forward, the circuit to the fogs get cut for additional power to the highs in order to reduce load on...
I just got some toyo tr-1s for the rear (265/35/18) on my supe. It was raining when I got them, and going about 40 I dropped from 5th to 2nd to leap-frog some traffic and it was 100% grip all the way through 2nd and most of 3rd. Almost no road noise either in the dry. 600 balanced and installed...
Stop wasting time and money on garbage. Just gather up some patience, put some money in the bank and buy what you really want *BRAND NEW*. Pay for piece of mind. And a warranty lol

Torque spec is 40-45 inch lbs. says the paper included with the gears.
These instructions are pretty specific:
-You follow OEM install instructions, but you put each of the Adj. cams gear washers UNDER the factory washer
-Use lock washers on all 5 adjustment bolts and torque down to...
The cable is not adjustable. The lever is a fixed end. What is adjustable is the hood latch via its mount. Worst thing is that the nylon cable sleeve stay in the hood latch assembly is worn out and isn't ensuring a complete release. I do not believe your cable stretched.

Hmmm. I just went and popped my hood. I left a bunch of crap (door panels and trim) on a towel on top, and the latch clicked but the hood didn't pop up. So I just went and used my fingers to pry it up anyway.
So your problem is that you need to adjust the slack in the line???
