I just installed a super monitor I bought from another member on the forum here and when I turn the key on (not start the car--can't start it just yet) it doesn't turn on. The plug from the old clock, the one that supplies power to the clock, is still there hanging out, was that supposed to go somewhere else? My supra is an 88 7MGTE with an 89 7MGTE motor I dropped last night. Everything is wired up (save one wire which I can't figure out where the hell it goes (pictures posted of that). I can't start it yet becuase I'm running into a little problem -- the old fuel filter won't come off and I'm not putting in fresh oil until I replace that filter. Going to tackle that tomorrow by either finding a way to get that filter out or taking off the powersteering pump and pulling off that adapter and replacing it with the one from the other motor. Anyway..any clues on why that damn super monitor won't work?
Oh and if anyone knows where that damn plug goes that'd help too, thanks.
