sounds like the bov is adjusted to loose. it needs to be closed at idle. also make sure you capped of fthe old return port. if not its a vacume leak and will cause your problem as well.
this makes me wish my tig was hooked up(sitting in storage as i have no where to hook it up at home, i need a garage). its an antique but works great. miller 320 a/b p. a/c and d/c, high freq built in, water cooled torch, etc... machine is huge though. lol. as i recall the dial goes to 300 amps...
run it in true twin or use some boost activated switches. might be able to configure the extra outputs of the ms2 to control the vsv's. id post the vsv diagram on mesefi.com and see what they tell you. might be able to tell you how to wire it up and what settings to change
im using ms2 on my 7mgte with edis. i didnt have any issues. i think the prob is the diagram for the trigger wheel shows the missing tooth 6 teeth counterclockwise from the sensor, but if you notice in tiny writing it says "as viewed from the rear". the missing tooth needs to be 6 teeth...
theres a huge thread here on it. search. im using a ms2 with v3.0 board. i love it. this thing is AWESOME!!!!!. its running the 7mgte in my 84. got it installed 2 weeks ago. still got some tuning to do but a few other issues need worked out first that are my fault. im using edis 6 for ignition...
i did fix her car. took all of 2min remember. lol. she took me for a ride to show me how fast it was and then i asked when she was going to floor it and she said " i am flooring it." lol. and then i showed you guys why it kept doing what it was doing and what to do to stop the leak to keep water...
holy fucking shit!!!!!!!!!!!! my car is fast as fuck now. lol. well, its pretty much tuned all the way using the auto tune feature and driving it for awhile and just burning it to the ms2 every time i was at a light or getting off the interstate. previously the boost was ~15psi and without...
if the walbro is inline with the stock pump, thats another problem. the walbro is being starved or fuel. get it mounted properly. as for the vac lines, as long as the fpr is receiving manifold vac your fine.
if you pressureized it to 14psi and hear a boost leak, FIX IT! theres your prob. that will cause all sorts of goofy things. also, is this thing still on the stock fuel pump? if so you need to get a 255lph pump. and for the bov being vented. so what. my greddy type s has been vented for years and...
how about tell us what happens when you try to boost? then maybe we can help you figure it out. does it have a intercooler? the i/c pipe to the 3000 pipe is piped wierd. most go through the fender.. most likley if it wont build boost is there is a loose or split i/c pipe coupler somewhere, most...
hooking isnt gonna be a problem. im afraid of breaking axels as i havent had the chance to fab the new ones i got planned yet. i got 275/50/15 nittos on my 15in are mesh wheels for the track and the rear suspension is set up good. never got to race on them but last i went o the track wit thhe...
yup, megasquirt was devloped by hobbiests, not a corporation, the software and open source code are all FREE! and the support on the forum is FREE! and its also cheap because you just buy the electronics needed and build it yourself to YOUR specs. it isnt for noobs or the faint of heart but if...
um, YES YES YES, the fuel pumlsation damper is the INLET to the fuel rail from the pump, therfore is BEFORE the fpr. so if he got rid of the fuel pulsation damper then he can put a t fitting right there at the inlet to feed fuel to the fuel solinoid.
well, i figured some more things out. found out why it wasnt reading the wideband. wasnt calibrated. theres 2 diff windows you have to choose wideband. single wideband in one window then calibrate and set it to the wideband you have, i have a aem linear so thats what i set it to. now the ms2...
