Where do you guys usually tap into the fuel system for a wet nitrous kit? On my friends 5.0 Mustang there was a fitting on the fuel rail we tapped into, I cant find one similar on our car. So, where are you guys getting fuel from? I noticed that my AFPR has an additional port on the other side, can I tap in there? Any info would be appreciated, pictures would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

You can use the additional port on the afpr or you can use the spot that the cold start injector is hooked up to. You can T into it or you can just remove the cold start. Another is if you have the fuel pulsation damper removed or bypassed that is a great place as well because it's in the back and not as noticeable. I would recommend the spot where the CSI is though because that is only used on start up.

Damn I need to get some practice in to race your car with NOS!! I'll be ready!! We are going to have alot of 11 sec MK3's this year!

Assuming you have your AFPR installed correctly you couldnt use it for your nitrous system. Why? FPR's are located on the drain side of the fuel rail. So you would just be filling your fuel tank with wet nitrous.

Take out the CSI and run it there. You don't need it being in TX. I don't have one and I daily drive my car.

Soundsl ike the way to go. Its right in the middle of the rail correct? Runs to the intake mani?

Yup, right in the middle. Go to earls and get the fiitings you need! And block off the opening on the intake manifold!

I run all of my nitrous kits off the additional pressure port of the FPR. That is if you have an aftermarket FPR like the aeromotive with two pressure ports.

NO NO NO, absolutely NOT a place to put it! You have to have the fuel solenoid feed placed before the FPR! That is anywhere from the fuel pump to the regulator, and if you have an additional port on the regulator, that should be fine too, as stated above.

Didn't know that. thanks, I've seen them hooked up there before, and thought that was fine. Learn something new. Thanks

Ahh isn't the fpr the last component before the return to tank other than the 'j' tube if you still got it.

Edit: maybe im thinking backwards.

Thats where I was initially looking. Still might go that route as well.

It really depends on the FPR used, some have more than one pressure port and some have more than one vent port. Just go to summit or something and figure out what your FPR has..

um, YES YES YES, the fuel pumlsation damper is the INLET to the fuel rail from the pump, therfore is BEFORE the fpr. so if he got rid of the fuel pulsation damper then he can put a t fitting right there at the inlet to feed fuel to the fuel solinoid.

Thank YOU. Thats what I thought and the FPR limits max fuel pressure much like a relief valve right?
