Igniters are 100% different and CANNOT be interchanged. The 7M-GE uses an electronic-advance distributor ignition system, the 7M-GTE uses a multiplexed wasted-spark 3-coil distributorless ignition system.
They are totally different.

Toyota doesn't even sell Dex II in Canada, only Dex III.
I'm not sure of anywhere to buy Dex II really... which is probably why it's so expensive over there Kai, it's not common anymore.
I'd use Dex III (well... I do use Dex III).
I've never seen or heard of any issues like were mentioned in...
Not all JZA70's had Torsens. Hold the pinion flange stationary and try to turn one of the side shaft flanges. If you cannot turn it without turning the pinion flange, it's a clutch diff, which requires friction modifier.
Torsens do not require friction modifier, so if it's a Torsen, just use...
The information you have provided is useless in determining what production month your car is from. Like was stated, check the build date on the data sticker.

The tunnel itself is the same size, however where the shifter hole is in a different spot between Auto and Manual. If the N/A is a 5-speed, you should be fine, but if it is an auto, you'll need to change out the upper tunnel piece, (part number 58261-14010).

They were never really called the "Supra" by Toyota, the car is actually labelled as "Toyota Mark II," it has recently been replaced with the "Mark X."
Not sure where the title of the page came from, but the rest of the information about the car seems accurate.

I have been very tempted in the past to change IJ's username to 1J, but I had been afraid of the rage, haha.
Mine is a clever name I thought of so that people would think I'm a person, when I'm really just a glorified aimbot.

With-ABS and Non-ABS have different Master Cylinders. 1986-1990 and 1991-1992 with-ABS are also different.
That means there are 3 types of master cylinder: 86-92 non-ABS, 87-90 with-ABS and 91-92 with-ABS.
On 86-92 non-ABS and 87-90 with-ABS master cylinders, the front port is for the front...
Supras in North America did not have this feature, so there won't be a LOT of information regarding it, however I would think that at idle it should have the orange light on.
Jeff
All Supras sold in North America are GT-Grade. N/A and Turbo.
Also, the list you linked to was originally written by me, here on Supramania, it was also posted earlier in this thread.

Nope. The pulley was made smaller on 89 Turbos, and then smaller on 90 N/A's. 87-88 Turbos and 86-89 N/A's had the larger pulley. Dampener was removed on all models for 1989, and PPS was made standard on Turbos and optional on N/A's for 1989.
Nothing seems to have happened at the same time...
Axle code is G282/G284 for non-LSD equipped vehicles, G285 for LSD-equipped vehicles. This is on the sticker in your driver's door jam, it will say A/TR, this is your Axle/Transmission code.
Sport package USA 89+ N/A models had PPS, TEMS and LSD. LSD was also an independent option that could be...
Actually the dampener was removed on models without PPS as well as models with PPS. Not sure the exact reason it was removed, but it was probably a few things, PPS may or may not have been one of them.
Jeff
Both N/A and Turbo used both types of TPS at different times during production. Depending on month/year. They are all electronically interchangeable. The only difference is the orientation of the tangs that turn the TPS on the throttle body.
Somewhere on here I posted information about what...
