If you can live with the problems until you want to sell it, do that and paint it right before you sell it. If you paint it now, by the time you sell it, it will have chips and dents again.
If you want it to look nice between now and then, go for it.

Newer Toyota engines where the cooling jacket around the cylinders is completely open have plastic water jacket spacers that fit around the cylinders to control water flow, etc.
It's been covered multiple times in this thread, but I'd just like to reiterate that simply having the most coolant...
Not really. I mean yes the average overall temperature will probably be slightly lower, but you will end up with some parts cooler than others, instead of the proper temperatures.

Toyota just switched from doing it on the block to doing it with the headgasket. The coolant passage holes in the JZ headgaskets are quite small, and vary depending on cylinder.

If you lube it up it should fit in fine. If it's old and brittle it may crack, at which point you'll need to order a new one.
I usually use motor oil to lube it up, just dip your finger in it, and very lightly coat it and it should slide in.

Both myself, friends and neighbours all have and enjoy having fires both in the back yard and in fireplaces in our homes. Am I missing something or are you getting upset because (s)he his burning some wood, or what? Haha.
As for the original poster, while I don't know if the school should be...
Also daytime running lights in many states and Canada. Popups are basically dead.
As for the FT86, the General MK3 section isn't really the place for it. There are other threads.

OS sells many types of triple plate, if this one is too difficult to drive on the street, we can always look at another choice, but the price was right, so we'll see how it goes. :)
Actually had an Aeromotive A1000 pump from my brother's old 300ZX, however the Denso setup is high-flowing...
So the Defi gauges came in, as did a couple other things for the car. Looking forward to the gauges, as my brother had some other temporary gauges in there, that were terrible. The Defi ones seem like such quality pieces, really like them.
To handle the higher power from the upgraded engine...
All 2JZ's have the same crank, GE or GTE. Non-VVT-i 2JZ-GE's have the same rods as the 2JZ-GTE, VVT-i GE engines have thinner rods.
2JZ-GE blocks do not have squirters, and the oil gallery on the exhaust side is not drilled for oil. Other than that the blocks are identical.
