As far as I can tell, TOGA stuff is 75% BS.......
Talked to them about one of their 'High Volume' oil pumps one time.
Asked them just how did they get more volume, longer, or larger diameter gears.
Was all set to buy, cash waiting.
Turns out they are just stock pumps, with a whole lot of BS attached, and a mystery origin (china??).

Oh, and stay away from King bearings, pure crap.........
Until I seen them, I had never seen bearings with ripples in the surface, or clear lacquer on the back side.
Thank god the engine I bought (had Eagle rods & JE pistons in it) had never been started after rebuild.

All my engines get bearings that come in a Clevite box.
No mystery brand bearings for me, thank you.

Might as well go back with oem bearings... from my understanding... they are pretty decent...

Also... I could be wrong... but arnt 7m clevite bearings just reboxed NPRs?

That what I had heard anyways..... I could be wrong on that...

what about acl?

They don't do the Race series for M engines, my crank shop steered me away from them for high hp builds (500+).

IJ i had a friend tell me that the OEM bearings are drying up, and are getting more difficult to find. Do you feel the same? I mean Toyota could only produce so many, and our cars are 20 years old, so what do we do when all the Toyo bearings are gone? And to the OP, for any application the most reliable and accurate bearings i have seen are the OEMs, unless IJ knows something we dont.

EVERYTHING OEM for these cars is drying up :(

Used to be if a part was NLA you'd order it and Toyota would do a remake on it and 6 weeks later you'd have a shiney new whatever you needed, now NLA means just that.

Clevite is

NDC in standard sized main and rod boxes, also in .25 oversize rod Boxes.

Federal Mogul in Some old stock Standard Mains, and all .25 Oversize Main boxes.
