When you turn the unit off, it goes back to a stock setting as if you have no EBC. (I am running a PRofec b 1st version) What I do, is turn mine on LOW @ the lowest setting, this way I can run stock boost, w/ the better feel of the Gain adjusted on the wastegate. Then I set HI on the higher...
I did the IS300 coils and swapped in some n/a valve covers. Cleaned up the whole mess on the top of the engine!

What vacuum source would you use for the BVSV for the evap system, if you have a JDM t/b with only 1 vacuum port?
I believe I read somewhere that a Honda had a smaller cannister that would work as well?!? Anyone know of this?
Search your local yellow pages for a local rebuilder. Search under "ring & pinion". Call some local driveshaft shops and see if the offer these service or can refer you to someone. Beats shipping it out!

Anyone have any luck doing this on the car?
Long story short, went for the state inspection, put the cat back in etc... and it failed for nox being too high. I know the cat is clean, (haven't used it in 2 yrs) so we tried testing the EGR manually opening it. No stall. I have pulled the upper...
I just received a 255 Walbro pump from a "SM authorized" vendor, and the install kit did not have the "pigtail" connector to crimp on. Can I use 2 blade style connectors and some wire, or do I need to call and have them send it?
The reason I ask, I was hoping to put it in this weekend...
I have one from an 87-88 model @ the house, don't know if you can make it work. If you're interested, lmk. Oh , "mk3 for life" is parting out an 89. PM Travis and see if he still has it.
