    Problem w/ GReddy temp gauge....

    Anyone else have a problem w/ thier GReddy warning/peak hold gauges? I recently did an interior swap, dash and all, and now my temp gauge doesn't seem to be calibrated. For instance, when the gauge powers up, the needle is supposed to sit @ "0" until the water warms up, and then starts to rise...

    Yes, they are identical on both sides. Dean's car was where I had 1st seen this done (z34 vent). I believe he only has one side done, I want to do both.

    It's not as bad as it seems. You just need to be gentle w/ the old trim that's closing in on being 20 years old and sunbaked for most of it's life. Just take your time. A magnetic tray is the bomb when doing this. Keeps all the "little" things together.

    If you're wanting to get to the roof, start @ the bottom. Seats, rear seat side panels, rear carpet, spare cover, spare, hatch panels, seatbelts and then the 1/4 window trim pieces (pull/pry carefully on these). A-pillar panels, visors and mirror. You should then be able to drop the headliner...

    I have the TRD stainless brake lines (discontinued), springs (Eibach I believe, discontinued), front pads (Performance Friction ?!? discontinued) 2 1/16 black face boost gauge 30in/15psi (AutoMeter, discontinued) from the original Tacoma s/c kit.

    if you want an optima w/o lengthening the cables, you have to get a 34r red top. mine was special order and took 2 weeks to get. i ordered it directly through interstate batteries.
