    engine bolts were to find

spend some time in the EPC catalogue and figure out which bolts you need. They are cheaper than you think from the dealer (champion or elmhurst toyota, anyway).

So why did you ditch your first Mk3?

I literally ditched mine...(stupid blocked photobucket at work...I intended to show a picture of my wrecked first supra) wheel well rust is now a little more difficult to deal with as toyota stopped producing the sheet metal (I beleive I got the last ones in NA) edit...here we go.

    Bearing plate? (suspension)

Take the car to a shop familiar with double wishbone suspension. The only way the mounts go "bad" is if you manage to rotate the strut rod in it when tightening and it prevents you from achieving adequate torque. All the strut mounts are is pieces of metal with 3 studs and a hole for the...

    Straightening warped heads and annealing

I use the term residual stress loosely, as 99% of the people on here have no idea what it means. Any articles I've read about cryo indicates that the process causes a "molecular realignment" (which I think is BS, but whatever) which eliminates casting-related stresses. If this was true...

    Straightening warped heads and annealing

Although I don't hold a lot of faith in cryogenics (I should point out that I don't have the most experience with the process) it will generally reduce or eliminate alot of the residual stresses within the metal. With that said, most of these residual stresses arise from the casting process...

Salesman at Toyota thought my supra was a nissan.

The dude was a salesperson, plain and simple. Why would he waste his time learinging about all of toyotas past vehicles just to impress the 1 of 10000 enthusiasts out there? I'm not sure where knowledge of a companies' complete history translates into sales of new vehicles, but hey, thats just...

If I ever get my hands on the bastard engineer...

Stock bolts are zinc or cadmium plated, both of which are lower than Al on the galvanic series. Most common replacement bolts out there are zinc plated, so their use wouldn't cause an issue. Fancy spendy stainless bolts might though.

DHL may be the worst shipping company out there...(rant)

Well, another shipping company gets thrown to the wolves. FedEx just "lost" a package of mine worth $15K. I hope whoever jacked the package enjoys the 40 rectangular steel bars that smell like sulphur. Cockbags.
