just a thought, after you rivet/weld your sheet metal in place in a few spots i'd go over it with some seam sealer from Napa. that way you'll retain a little flex and won't pop welds off if the thing happens to bend a bit.
will acetone hurt the paint?
i know most of this stuff is going to take the wax right off down to bare paint but i'm not sure if the acetone will be too harsh.

i've just gotten to where i undo the intake pipe into the TB and take the four bolts loose, then lean the whole throttle body up and towards the brake master cyl while i change plugs 3 and 4.

i've read several places that these ratings differ between manufacturers, and should only be used within the same brand name to compare tires. if they are used between brands, they should only be used as a rough estimate.
