There are various companies on here that make the flanges that you need, along with the oil fittings.
You'll want stainless lines for the heat protection. This is not some thing to go cheap on.
First, please do not continue to post in the forum until you see an answer. Ok?
Second, the GTP38 is a reverse rotation turbocharger, specifically designed for International. It can be found on the DT444e and the DT466 (select models).
There are several versions of this turbo, but for the most...
If you have time, and some money, go for the T4 setup. In the long run, I think you'll be happier, and the parts to rebuild the unit are cheaper. You'll spend more money up front: Intake, down pipe, oil system, etc.
I personally have a police style 870 Remington. Black on black, extended mag, shortest barrel possible.
FYI Mario, check your local Castle Doctrine laws before you go blasting.... or just have a great lawyer.
Mike and others. Thank you for the help, but this shuttle mission has been scrapped for the time being.
There is a circuit board inside that this component sits on, and the actual path that the electricity uses on the circuit board is charred and burnt up. There are 3 connections off the board...

Im thinking a resistor too, but have never seen one of solid color like this. Would this type of resistor have a specific wattage? I wasn't doing any thing out of the ordinary. The machine was built around...
My plasma cutter went kaboom yesterday. Scared the shit out of me. Made a very loud boom like a fire cracker.
There is a small component that looks like the picture. It is exploded. What is it? Im not sure. Its brick red in color though....
Now. After you ID this part...

The Duramax turbocharger has GT37 guts, but the turbine housing and bearing housings are setup for VGT vanes and a VGT modulator. If you could get rid of the bearing housing and turbine housing, you'd have a...
You can try to rebuild just replacing the bearings and seals, but you most likely will not be successful.
On a typical turbo rebuild, the bores have to be checked for roundness and straightness.
Every thing has to be cleaned and micro polished.
The assembly and individual pieces have to be...
Here's what I think happened:
-FOD got sucked into the compressor wheel, or the compressor wheel started coming part
-This caused an out of balance condition, at a high rate of speed
-The speed of the turbine wheel, and the out of balance of the compressor wheel bent the shaft
-The shaft...
Im going to rule this one out as compressor wheel failure or FOD damage to the compressor wheel. Turbo shaft appears to have had oil pressure. What does the trust stack look like?
Sean, if it were me, I would go with Aaron @ Driftmotion. A coupe reasons:
-We all know what the T67 flows. There are various compressor maps out there available. Just look up To4R. The TO4R is the journal bearing version of the To4Z.
-The T67 has cheaper parts when it comes to a rebuild...
