Sean, if it were me, I would go with Aaron @ Driftmotion. A coupe reasons:

-We all know what the T67 flows. There are various compressor maps out there available. Just look up To4R. The TO4R is the journal bearing version of the To4Z.
-The T67 has cheaper parts when it comes to a rebuild. The MP70, no matter who tells you so, CAN NOT be rebuilt with Garrett parts. I've been round and round on this topic before with local former customers.
-Aaron is a great guy and his customer service is second to none. Plus, he's a fellow supra owner.

looking at a decent street car. kinda like a weekend warrior kind of deal. im not sure as far as the amount of boost im looking to run. but i will prob go with the t67. never steered me wrong before.. Thanks Guys

For the price it's hard to beat a MP T-70 and from the reviews I've read on various forums and personal experience they are pretty reliable. Plus ModularTurbo (Rob) Stands behind them 100% and will help you with any issues that the turbo may have including rebuilding and premature failure. But the DM T-67 is purrty lol

Ive personally seen two different mp t-70's fail, but Ive been running a dm 67 since about may 08 and no problems have had to change manifold gaskets but turbo is still pulling strong, I drive my car every day, I dont have a turbo timer and it goes on long road trips so from this I can definitely say its reliable.... on another note though if I were you go with one of those neat new billet turbos out there..

A friend of mine has been abusing a MP T70 since 2007 on his 1JZ and he's having no issues at all with the thing. I personally checked it for shaft play about 8 months ago and it was very minimal. If I ever needed a turbo on a budget I wouldn't hesitate (based on personal experience).

I have a DM 60-1 and it feels alost spools ct26ish ...... I cant complain at all. I havent dyno'ed yet but I am in the 10's at WOT and she pulls pretty damn hard. I will be pushing the DM 67 in the summer.
