    actually, i cant STAND parallel twin motors. at least, if they sound like the kawi EX500's. i MUCH prefer the sound of a 90* vtwin over a parallel twin or even I-4 bikes like the Gixxers and such. the V-5's confuse me though...

    like i said, those cars have forged aluminum rods and pistons, high compression, massivly ported heads, large custom cams, small/multidisc clutches like a tilton, huge surgetank manifolds, 4" ic pipes, 5" thick intercoolers..and so on.

    surge tanks or air separater tanks for the fuel system are beneficial, but using a stock or upgraded intank pump to transfer fuel into a surge tank doesnt seem like itd work. flow out wont equal flow in. both sides of the equation are not equal. and most surge tanks arent big, like 1 liter...

    a 2 stroke power output is akin to a 4stroke of double the displacment. soo, a 500cc 2-stroke sport bike is placed in the same class as a 1000cc 4-stroke bike. btw, crowers arent light. they are one of the heaviest aftermarket rods readily available for the supras.

    idk... i guess it COULD be worth the effort, at the outer limits. i mean between maximizing dwell time and primary coil saturation, you could get more spark energy to put off blow out at higher rpm's w/ high boost, methanol injection and C16.

    yeah, i acutally used thsoe donuts at the rear to hang the ends of my side exits. my RX7 used the same donuts too. i used a spare donut from the 87 parts car i had to hang the mid pipe too. they are easier to R&R than the later mounts though, sometimes.

    BFR is also right. in neutral, the gearset spins. if you clutch it and go for reverse immediately, you WILL get in with a slight ker-chunk noise, kinda like an F250 with a Top-loader or a Chevelle with a Muncie M22. and no, reverse has no synchros... thats why it can grind if you go for...
