Need help restoring cracked and peeling window trim

Only true way is to replace them. They're supposed to effectively seal the window channels and stop water from getting in.

High compression high RPM 7M-GE build

Why would you run a girdle when the engine doesn't need one? You have 7 mains and with upgraded hardware have shown to handle a ton of abuse...

Coolant tubes dont match Cygnus diag.

Looks like the motor isn't in the car... I'd swap the hardline as it would be a complete nightmare to deal with a hose looped around like that when it fails...

Coolant tubes dont match Cygnus diag.

Meaning you have an 89+ motor that's either JDM or from some other RHD country. Best thing to do in this case would be to replace the line with a LHD piece from an 89+

Normal for being under the hood and being under a load. Unless you have issues you can narrow down to them, they usually DON'T go out easily.

    Budget brembo front brakes

What wheels are you going to run? Going to have to be at least 17's (if not 18's) and you'll need to clear the caliper which will be the harder part.

    Budget brembo front brakes

    - You're using used calipers (at least rebuild them). - Cobra R brakes are not full bolt on as they're larger than the normal Cobra brakes. - The rotors won't work as they don't match the calipers. - Brembos are notorious for striped hardware as they're pretty soft aluminum (all brembos are NOT...

    I don't understand why but,

Bigger turbo flows more air at lower PSI, but it's still too low. Still sounds like a boost leak... Not unless he wants to build a grenade.

Why we are happy with sub par fuel economy?

This is really quite simple... NOX. Lean burning engines produce a lot of NOX, which is quite harmful to the local environment (I'm not talking global warming here, I'm talking smog or even just the poor runner on the sidewalk). It boils down to emissions. That and cars have to be safer...

A new manual transmission is in town... The 'V154' !

That car runs the same basic Aisin trans as the 6-speed Miata and the S2000. They all have a few issues once you start pushing power (there are already people over 500HP on the damn boxer 2.0 motor with forced induction!) and they're fragging the transmissions. V160 doesn't take much to bolt...
