duel ignitor getting hot help please

So i am running duel ignitors for true coil on plug car starts and runs iam still testing this so please give me some time to work out the bugs and test please DO NOT attempt yet.
OK I am having a problem with my Iignitors getting hot or what I would think to be hot I have grounded both ignitors so I know that is good. what are the other issues that can cause ignitors to get hot

Your using an igniter that was made for 1 single coil to power 2 plugs and only using a single coil coil for 1 plug.

yes you are correct on the factory setup 1 ignitor to 3 coils and this setup is doing the same
ignitor 1 fires cylinder 123 and ignitor 2 fires 456 could you please explain a little more

Ya except the coils are smaller. The stock coils power 2 plugs. Yours only fire 1. There smaller coils. More current and more heat.

I see where you are coming from now.there have been a few people that have done this before and I haven't read about the ignitors failing do you think it might be past the ignitors capabilities

What there doing is using 1 igniter and wiring the coils in series. So it's like stock but with 2 coils.

Check out morgansons cop thread. Tho after about 15psi they start breaking up.

I seen that posting I an a little past that I don't think that setup will work that's why I have tried this setup I don't get any spark blow out just seems to be overworking the ignitors a little

I understand what you are saying I didn't realize I had to be that specific I was looking for maybe standard to see to see how far the temp range might be out one thing i looked past before going to this setup. If anyone out there has the time and a temp gun could you give us that full operating temp please thank you everyone for the help with this

I am getting 134 degrees Fahrenheit after a 1hr drive with duel ignitors can anyone help me out with the temps on stock temps

Normal for being under the hood and being under a load. Unless you have issues you can narrow down to them, they usually DON'T go out easily.

thank you I figured I would post this for people that just mite want to know I pulled the temps from a stock ignitor with factory coils and got 136 degrees Fahrenheit after 1hr drive

runs fine so far no sign of cut out at 14 psi I just picked up aem v1 when I am ready to install that we will see what the coils and ignitor setup works above that the turbo I am using is a t76 wired this way I am losing some current but I am able to supply them with full 12v instead of 6v give or take wired in series i can tell you i had problems with the setup before i wired two igniters after that none. Please reply if my math is wrong.

I havent been able to confirm the decay across the pair under running conditions. I dont believe the decay is quite that agressive and certainly not perfectly halved across the pair. 12v reaches both coils. When the secondary collapses it fires both (which is why they are wired parallel rather than series. Series fires all coils at once)
The problem comes in that the ignitor cant saturate fast enough at higher rpms and under boost the spark fails. Given the right ignitor this would be the strongest upgrade available. The hks dli box would fix the problems with this or even just simply a step up voltage module. But this was designed as an entry upgrade for mostly stock vehicles. It was never tested over 14psi because stock wont go over 11psi. Most built units are using aftermarket ecus and thus fixing the problem people are having. We are looking into solutions for the problem but we are reworking the wheel for the sake of an "affordable" upgrade.
R&D on these is very expensive and I am all by myself. The guys working on the ignitors are in the same boat. We are pushing the envelope because the support for these cars has dwindled.
Im open to some feedback and thoughts. This is all open to improvements.
