Have you felt the difference? Keep the original if you want that floating out of controll feeling. Its up to you (there are no vibrations or terrible sounds). I build my car to be better and to have increased drivablity. The chassie can be stiffened further if you´re worried about twisting...
I changed mine to solid aluminium and i highly recomend it. The floating feeling is gone and as grimreaper said the responsiveness of the car when you turn quickly is 100% improved. The video posted discribes the problem well... and i dont se any point in having movement there, thats what...
the guy i bought my gt3582r from said he had well over 2bar at 3800rpm with his audi s2. I think they have 2.2 liter enginge. I will try to find it in print. But its a serious project and he had 580 rwhp with that setup. The turbo spools insainly quick .
on original ct26 you can take the compressorhousing of but not the exhaust housing, not without re-balancing as far as i know. There are 2 metal pins between bearinghouse and compressor house so you cant twist it around like on other turbos, it has to be pushed out in one direction. I used a...
its a unusual size. I cant see it in their list either. Maybe its best to email and se if they can order it. It might be expensive.. i loaned one from the workshop.
Thanks for a good answer.

I ran my before on 1bar original ecu with no problems. And if you try to go higher you remap with...
"this post should be deleted"
Do you have anything to back up these comments with? Or is this your contribution to the forum? Fire of a negative post with no substans. Wy I should delete my post, or why these modds wouldn´t do squat to cool down the head.
"Bad advice.
Like already stated..bore the least you can"
hmm. Im not sure I made myself understood. The EGR is good for holding emissions down but in search for power its negative. To lead hot exhausts, drained of oxygen back in the engine is not something you want to do if you are...
I just got a gt3582r. Is it sensitive to tilt the "bearing section/mid section" (dont know in english) for the lubrication? Is it ok to tilt 20 degrees? And you guys with bb turbo have you any extra filter for the oil.
bore minimum. save as much material as possible. If something goes wrong i the future you may need to drill again.
drill a new cooling channal in the head, behind six:th pison. throw out EGR and put a big screw in the hole between cylinder 6 and the EGR cooling chamber, to get more efficiant...
so the answer is on mapecu webbsite... we have to check everything. But if the solution is there mapecu must know about it... strange. Wasn´t someone here who used to sell this stuff?
