Hi,
Im currently doing a turbo swap in my NA and have the donor engine but it had some horrible head work done to it previously.
The cylinder head measures 115.3 mm thick and I can't find any references on the original thickness of an un milled head. I need to tell the machinist here in Kuwait so he can tell if its had too much taken off before.
The intake and exhaust cams were on the wrong sides for starters, the bearing caps that are clearly marked for intake were on the exhaust side, there were two headgaskets on there and the valves on number 4 were hitting the piston and got bent. The previous machinist also took a center punch and put dots on the combustion chamber and valves so he knew where to put things back together, maybe he should have done that to the cams too!
