I also did a JDM 7MGE swap and had the same clicking in the fuel relay, and I grounded the wires to the starter, so I put them to the intake manifold and it worked fine. Also, make sure you put the EFI fuse back in too. I forgot that also. :)
Nevermind. I guess the battery was just low from testing them a bunch and leaving the key in the on position. My car wouldn't start, so I jumped it and got it started, and then the light came right on. Lol
Hi everyone, I just installed a Xentec HID kit today on my mk3 and I have a problem. Both are installed but my passenger one just makes a buzzing noise and blinks really fast and then lights for 2 seconds and then goes back to blinking and buzzing. Is this a bulb problem or a ballast problem...
I looked at your build thread, and I can't remember if I replied there, if so sorry for the repost. Where did you mount the balasts and how? I didn't see any pictures of that there. Thanks.
Hey everyone, I was trying to search the forums, and I couldn't come up with anything on anyone doing an H.I.D. install. Has anyone put in an H.I.D. kit on the mk3? I have the xentec kit if that helps. Thanks.
And as for the boring out the engine, I'm pretty sure I was reading Defiant7M's build thread and he said he bored his out to 3.5L. Check out his build thread, he is doing some serious engine work it looks like.
Well, yeah, if you want to keep it simple. And thats pretty good for just those few things. But I meant, like anyone that has done some major engine work to get more horsepower and actually tried to make a lot of horsepower on just motor.
I have the exact same problem. I bought the A'PEXi intake from suprastore.com too, and it obviously doesn't fit. I have been talking to a guy from suprastore, and he told me to drill, so I marked it out, and realized that I will drill into the chamber on the elbow, and I wouldn't be able to...
Yeah, I go to Bradley. And yeah, all my money is going into my car. It sucks but sweet at the same time. I finally got around to upgrading the supra, before this summer all I have done is just repair stuff.
Nice, I have Eibachs and Koni shocks. I also got some Suspension Techniques sway bars. The Eibachs lowered it real nice, I gotta get some pics up. I will get some posted as soon as I take new ones.
Good to hear the clutch problem is resolved and it bled good and everything. And maybe your clutch isn't bad, you might just need to adjust the clutch pedal.
