Yah, you know I am. Peoria here. I plan to be driving my Supra this summer.
I came in the forum section to start a thread that I saw a maroon Supra about a week or two ago riding around Peoria. It looked well kept from a distance. Probably just passing through.
Seems like any "Midwest Forum" on any car forum I go to is full of Chicago or St Louis people. There's never anyone in Peoria or Bloomington.

Hey, I'm another supra owner from Peoria. But I wont be back until late August, I got to school there.
yah, i thought it could be you. but, the driver looked 40+ from a distance. Seems like the car was lowered, had rims and an exhaust, but I can't quite remember it all now. LOL. I just remember thinking, SUPRA!!!!, and trying to catch a glimpse of it while I was watching traffic ahead of me.
There is a maroon pre-89 that's sitting down on Galena Rd. It looks like it hasn't moved in years, so I don't think the one I saw was that one.

Since I don't have a build thread, I'd rather bump this thread. I've ordered parts for my Supra including shocks, springs and Bomex replica lip from Nick. The lip is a whole 9 miles closer to me from the shipping origin at the last tracking update. yeay!! I've got everything under the hood back together, which was mostly just air intake parts taken out due to my accordion hose needing replaced. Now, I am just waiting on the suspension parts to get installed once they arrive.

Nice, I have Eibachs and Koni shocks. I also got some Suspension Techniques sway bars. The Eibachs lowered it real nice, I gotta get some pics up. I will get some posted as soon as I take new ones.

sway bars are on the to do list for me. that and about a dozen other things. sucks having cars as a hobby and having no money. lol. i'm not even touching my DD so I can get my Supra where I want it now.

Yeah, I go to Bradley. And yeah, all my money is going into my car. It sucks but sweet at the same time. I finally got around to upgrading the supra, before this summer all I have done is just repair stuff.
That sounds like me. I had other priorities to handle before getting around to my Supra. It runs ok, but I didn't trust the shocks and springs. So, I'd only drive it around the neighborhood until last fall when my accordion hose cracked. It hasn't been driven since then.

LOVE it, I just didn't see the "ME" before. and holy crap i bet every person on this board feels your pain.
yah, i'm sure they do. there's this brand new black Lexus IS that parks right next to me almost every day at work. and I already park fairly far away, close to the next company's warehouse. i let that fly since it's a lexus, but whenever i leave and come back, i always end up parking a few feet further away from his car. haha
