    Engine Run-on Issue

I'll save you some time: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=5 It was in the engine mechanical section. It's not very specific, though.. all it says is to check the EFI system. That's a bunch of checking.

    Engine Run-on Issue

I do know the TSRM mentions this problem in the troubleshooting section.. I believe it said it was related to fuel injection. I'd post the link to the page, but i'm short on time right now.

WB in and now a quick AFR Question:

Keep in mind the UEGO does not display anything less than 10.0. If you're hitting a solid 10 flat, you may be dipping into the 9's (or more). I don't have much input for your fuel woes without doing a little, research so I don't say something thats not 100% true, lol. I'm sure others will...

    AEM UEGO gauge

I have mine successfully wired up in my EVO. You can easily record data from the COM port using HyperTerminal, but it is only useful if you have a way to log at least your RPMs by.. otherwise you'll get a big list of AFRs and you'll have to best guess where it all maps out. It was a pain to...

    bov question (comp surge D:)

Make sure you're using a port that is pressurized after the throttle body if you're not using the stock port. (I'm at work so I cant see any pics or anything). They also make vacuum coupler reducers :naughty:

    MK3 Newb.... A few ?'s

Have a look at your injector o-rings. I've seen them dry rot on cars that have been sitting for a long time. They may be good to go, but its worth a look.

    BOV questions

That wont really do much. Every time the BOV opens, you're venting metered air which air the computer is using to calculate how much fuel the engine gets. Less air = choke. Your best bet is to recirculate or go speed density (map sensor). Twin Falls, Idaho? I used to be stationed in Mtn...

What's causing my car to lope?

This is the one I made for my EVO: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2625515/6 95% of the parts were bought at a plumbing store. Got the valve stem cap from NAPA, and I used a t-bolt clamp on the turbo. Very simple piece to make.

    manual vrs electronic

Electronic ones have more features like gear specific boost, memory, adjustable duty cycle and are typically more precise. I've used TurboXS highperformance MBCs before.. they worked just fine for me. I use a hallman MBC on my EVO. I've also used the AEM Tru-Boost (solenoid went bad), and...

    Bottom end check/refresh

Yah.. if the history of the engine is in doubt, you may as well strip it down and redo it for peace of mind, if anything.

    Knock sensor locations

The GE has one. There are three nubs or whatever you want to call them on the block. The GE block has the middle one threaded, and the GTE block has the outer two threaded. I'd post pics.. but i'm at work. There are pics of it on the site somewhere.. most of them get blocked for me, though.

1 foot exhuast? would it harm the turbo?

Yea, that video pretty much sums up a fear of mine: my car bursting into flames. I vote for at least a side exit or something/anything other than a 1' dump.

    Greetings

Heres my car: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3187303 I haven't put up the engine removal adventure yet. As soon as I finish taking it all apart, i'll be uploading more pics.

    Greetings

Hey peoples. I'm Matt.. new to the forum, obviously. I am currently living in the Delaware area (will be moving to Missouri in a year or so). My Supra is an '87 GE turbo'd. When I bought it, it wasn't running (someone was taking it apart to fix a noise and didnt put it back together). I...
