I figured out my boost control problem.
I did not acknowledge that the top and side ports on the external wastegates need to be plumbed. The stock configuration on the WGs have a line going to the side port from each turbo pressure source and that nets 10psi base boost. I tee'd the pressure signals together to one port on the EVC solenoid and tee'd the WG output signals to each WG from the other port on the EVC. And the boost was doing funny things setup this way. But on the pressure port, each line needs to be tee'd itself and run to the side ports. The WG output signals are supposed to go to the top ports according to the user manual. I had to look at a diagram from another EVC manual as the manual for mine didn't say this explicitly.
I drew a picture of it and it looks confusing... But I think I got the tee'ing down right. I'll draw it on MSpaint so you can see. Two turbos and two wastegates make things two times more complicated. ::hang::
I still need to call HKS and get the correct setup of switches inside the head unit.
One more thing on the list to do before I can put this thing on the dyno. No point doing it sooner and wasting my time knowing everything's not working right.
The EVC plumbing isn't a big thing. I do need to go get some fittings though since they're not just slip fit vacuum hose ports.
