Thought I'd add my perspective on CRE's MAFT Pro set up.
I've driven half a dozen mkiii N/A's in the last year(mostly stock) while trying to buy one and I can easily say his set-up has got 'em beat by quite a bit. Its hard to say how much the MAFT Pro has contributed to the gains, but I did drive it once while he was tuning. How far along in the tuning he was, he will have to add.
First impression was that it was much more responsive and pulled more consistently through the rpm range. The consistency in the power band seemed much better than the others.
Last weekend I had the opportunity to witness what a full tuning can really do. Biggest improvement over mine and the other N/A's i've experienced is that CRE's pulls harder and harder and doesn't let up until you decide to let off or shift. The rest seemed to pull harder up to about 4000 then level off. That was my most notable difference, but it also seemed to have zero hesitation. All the torque is right there if you're above 2000. Step on it and go. I'm sure if i spent 15 minutes in mine, then 15 in his, I'd be able to rattle off 10 other small differences in the feel, but those are the main points.
Aside from that its just so damn sweet to be able to track all the data your engine is throwing out to the ECU(or MP).
Next time we meet up, CRE, I want to see some charts
