Yeah, we're gonna have to start paying this guy Hopefully you'll be done pestering him by mid-November; I should be ready by then....
Yeah, he said he'd give me $20 for saying all that BS about him, but I told him not to worry about it:biglaugh:cuel said:Yeah, we're gonna have to start paying this guy Hopefully you'll be done pestering him by mid-November; I should be ready by then....

In the following thread I detail how I dealt with the error codes 24 and 31:
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48022
In the above method you do NOT connect V-Out2 from the MAFT Pro to THA (you're going to want V-Out2 for something else anyway). Once you've set the power to feed from both Acc and IG2 (I tapped at +B for this signal) (both isolated with diodes!) when you start the car set the ignition switch to Acc for a second to allow the MAFT Pro to boot, then crank.
Also, hence forth MAFT Pro updates include the fuel pump controls for our FC connection on the AFM harness. This is as of 5.x and on. If you're sticking with a lesser version for one reason or another then only use those I've mirrored and linked to in this writeup.
Lastly, I'm experimenting with the new Enhanced TPS functions found in 5.x1 and on. However, there is a bug with versions prior to 5.08, so I recommend downloading that version or newer. 5.08 can be found at the following location: http://www.fullthrottletech.com/showthread.php?p=24194#post24194
What ETPS does is allows the MAFT Pro to intercept and pass the TPS signal until a set threshold is reached at which point it will feed the TCCS (ECU) a steady signal of what ever is set for V-Out2 in the Setup menus. You also need to set V-Out2's function to TPS: Enhanced (IIRC). This will allow you to begin WOT tracking sooner than stock... do remember that your timing will advance too, so don't over do it!!!

OK, since you ragged on the other noobie in the other thread, and you know what a noob I am with computers and shit, any problems you would expect me to have doing this, or do I need further instructions?
