I went to the dealer a few months ago and they wanted $80 for the knob.

Yeah, $56 + ship isn't too good considering the Ebay prices.
Even $56 shipped wouldn't be bad.
$50 shipped, even better.

I need much more than a shift knob, but if this takes off, I'm in.

Just got a reply back from the Toyota rep, they will be $56 plus shipping. Probably cheaper if we get more people in. So do I have permission to make an actual thread?

Jeff, what is dealer cost on these? Maybe I can beat my local dealer up on the price.. they've always been good to me, maybe they'd be willing to budge a bit more...

I don't know USA dealer cost, I could tell you mine, but it wouldn't help, since Toyota Canada has higher prices for EVERYTHING.

pff... i can't do anything. he said $76.41 is THE BEST he can do, it's list and list only because of how many hands they pass through, there's no discount. He said if I can get them for anything under list price, then to go for it.
I even told him about the $59.99 one's on ebay and he said that they pay more than that...
