Update:
I've cut up, repositioned, and re-welded the downpipe. It fits the car much better now. I also got rid of my crush bent 3" piping at the rear of the car and welded in some mandrel bent pipes. I mounted the -8 bulkhead fitting on the fuel pump hanger, and installed the new pump. I re-installed the fuel tank, hooked up my fresh -8 line straight from the hanger to the rail, and tested! No fuel leaks! Tomorrow I will crank it up and see if I have any oil leaks. Then I get to play with the MAFT and then finally start the car.

Side notes: My laptop's motherboard failed at possibly the most inopportune time for me. The day before I need it to tune the MAFT Pro.

The Supra made it 300 miles home for turkey day :)

Thanks Kenny for the MaftPro help. I think I've situated all tuning problems.

No leaks or any issues other than the pipe @ the turbo outlet popping off. I got that welded up so it can't pop off anymore, let's see if I can finally boost my baby! :)

Had a few nice runs on the highway today. Although my first run I had the wastegate hose off (my fault!) and I boosted almost 20psi. That was scary. I re-attached and am running about 14psi now. It pulls strong and it feels really good. I need to find another laptop as I have plenty more tuning to do. I'd like to get PTT working.

Guys,
Going 2JZ. I need to turn this car into a reliable stock daily driver, instead of a high performance 7m 'race car'.

Therefore, I will be parting with just about everything in the engine bay!

I'll come up with prices soon, but, here's a list.

-7MGTE longblock. Polished valve covers included, oil pan included. No manifolds, no coils, etc. Forged pistons, brian crower rods. Bearings, all gaskets, oil pump, water pump, and many other things replaced less than 5k ago.
-Garrett GT4294 J-Bearing T4 turbo
-Sound Performance T4 exhaust manifold, ceramic coated, fit the GT42 with only a spacer!
-R154 Tranny, 150k miles, shifts great, reverse occasionally grinds. I'll be going back to auto with the 2JZ.
-7M FFIM w/Q45 throttle body and toyota TPS (custom made adapter)
-2JZ coil packs for use with 7M (VVTi coil packs) with custom made harness (plug and play)
-Siemens 850cc injectors (domestic style)
-I also have a full MAFT pro setup. Comes with AIT sensor, MAP sensor, boost solenoid, plug and play jumper harness, USB-to-serial adapter, etc.

I'll add more as I think of it or upon request.
I won't be pulling any parts for a week or two. No dibs, money talks. I'll post a for sale thread when I'm ready to start pulling parts.

Man thats a big change in direction, but for a daily driver a stock 2JZ makes sense

This is a dumb question but, how many coils are there with the VVTi setup, 3 or 6?

The FFIM is that a Ron R one or?

I have a lot I need to do to the car before I focus on power, so driving a stock car will help me achieve those goals (and stop wasting money on "go fast" when I can "barely stop"). I figure down the road once I'm satisfied with the car itself and need more power, the 2JZ is easy to upgrade and make good power.

There's 3 coils, running in waste-spark just like the stock coils. They're just stronger and more reliable than stock. That, plus the fact that they're made for a coil-over-plug setup on an I6 makes them the perfect candidate for going COP on the 7M. I'm not sure if you're interested in only the info, or interested in buying, so let me just point out.. the harness that I made was made with new plugs and new pins. There's no splicing in the harness, new pins and seals crimped onto new wiring.

The FFIM is not "name brand" it was custom made by a shop for fairly cheap, so to compare it to a $2k Sethron manifold isn't practical. It's got provisions for ISC, CSI, and 5 vac ports. It's got velocity stacks inside and does not use the stock lower runners, the runners and flange on this manifold are fabricated for this manifold.

I'm asking $250 for the coils + harness, and $500 for the manifold.
