Today was fun (notice the time) ..

Re-did all the hotside piping with 3". Was using 2.5" with the smaller turbo with a reducer to the I/C. All new piping, couplers, and t-bolt clamps. As well as new t-bolt's for the cold side (they were mismatched! gross!) :) All of the piping is tightened except for the pipe and coupler leading to the pipe coming off the compressor.

I decided I'm going to be moving my P/S reservoir above the I/C (like where the coolant reservoir is, opposite side) to clean up the bay a bit. Also realized that where my WG dumptube is now placed with the new manifold it will be aiming at my oil pan.

So, now I need power steering hose, and a new dumptube.

Tomorrow's "hopefully I can complete" list:
-Finally bolt up the manifold for good
-Bolt up the turbo and wastegate
-Extend the P/S reservoir lines and relocate it
-Connect and bolt down all the remaining I/C piping on the hot side
-Connect oil lines

Overall to-do:
-Make adapter for the 4" outlet on the turbine to a 3.5"
-Finish up exhaust from the new downpipe to the current midpipe
-Wastegate dumptube
-Flush all coolant and install Mishimoto radiator (finally)

It's been over nine hours now. You done yet? ;)

ACTUALLY

Today's "hopefully I can complete" list:

EDIT: Keep in mind everything that's polished is super dirty and needs an intense cleaning/buffing. Here's some pics:

Also, forgot to mention. I'll be ditching this FFIM and going with a custom sethron manifold. He says it takes about 2 months. So don't expect to see it anytime soon! ;)

Oh, and look what I got in the mail today in MINT condition (looks 100% brand new) ..

-Valve cover gaskets should be here, so install those and reinstall valve covers.
-Reinstall CPS and coil packs

Cool build.
That intake manifold is hot, I was wondering if someone made that type of manifold for the 7M, The stock manifold routing just kills the way the engine bay looks (In my opinion)
How much did it cost you? ( If you don't mind saying)
Hope you plan on changing wheels out sometime, haha.

Thanks. Intake was around $600 IIRC. As you can see on the previous page, I'll be replacing with a Sethron intake.

Wheels will come as soon as I roast these new tires.

Haha, yeah I over-looked the that first one you have installed, Was wondering how much the Sethron would run you.

I'm most likely getting an N/A supra, so I'm not sure if this would be worth it for the N/A 7M but maybe in the future if I were to turbo it then I'd be interested.
Or maybe go 2JZ haha.

Either way good stuff man, way to rep the east coast!

No pictures. It is on the 7M in my signature that was sold. It is in the same spot that you have yours but I had to bend the brackets on the turbo resevoir to make it fit and used an exisiting hole on the chassis to mount it up. After bending the brackets, I painted them and let it dry and looked extremely clean and sturdy. I could take off the cap without holding the resevoir.

Etikoner, it depends on your power levels. A 2JZ can handle a good amount of power in stock form but if you are one of those people that over looks details, well, it will hurt you more on a 7M.

My example and Mike knows this well. The 7M in my signature refused to idle properly. It would run up and down and stall at idle and when revved it would just stall out. I am not a fan of electric fans because the clutch fan setup is a better setup in my opinion and it is OEM. My problem that I did not even think of, was that since I had a good fan clutch and obviously a turbo blade, it was sending masssive amounts of air in the AFM at idle and fuel was being added and subtracted for no reason. Jetjock said to take care of that and use a filter and a bracket was made to hold it away from the shroud and the incoming air. After that, it idled perfectly. Then sold the same day.

So, had a little fun the other day up here in Orlando. For those of you who don't know, I live with roomates, instead of renting a dorm or small apartment we decided to get a HOUSE which is why I have the garage all to myself.. they're not into cars. Nice big house in a nice neighborhood, you'd never know we were college kids! Also, neither of these people are me. I'm the camera man.

Did you think post 100 wouldn't be something like this? Ha.

The problem: This bastard donut has no chocolate frosting on it.

The solution: Remove chocolate frosting from a donut with essentially no potential to be eaten.
