Some parts sold, some parts remain. I've put together a list in stages of things I need to get to make this thing move again. My goal is to have it running in a months time, but this goal can be skewed drastically by something as simple as a part being delayed. Everyone knows how much I hate waiting on parts (Kenny).
Anyways. Pics. I was going to pull everything at once, but I had a local buyer for the intake and exhaust manifolds, so I removed those first.

I'm slowly starting to feel lonely, like, one of my kids is going to college or something.. I know I'll miss my 7M, especially when I step on the 2JZ and it doesn't go as fast. But, I feel I'm doing the right thing.

The Supra looks BAD in this pic. Ugh. Nice lift in the front eh? I didn't like the clearance the hood shocks gave me so I disconnected them until I remove the hood to pull the motor.

I was going to, but having read that you'd have to pull the engine to remove them.. I'm just going to buy a cheap little T4 turbo and slap it on there until I can upgrade. Besides, now I can get the T4 single manifold from Raptor to match my stainless exhaust

I am going on a limb here and running a 67MM with a .81 exhaust on my 1JZ. Pretty big turbo for a 1JZ but I have a couple tricks to get early spool....I know jostar is running a bigger turbo than that. :-/
A 6262 is really responsive on a 2JZ and I have seen a few them in the SupraForums classifieds.

Nice. Journal or ball bearing turbo? I prefer journal since it is good up to about 30 PSI and can be rebuilt cheaply.
Good job. Smart choice. I will be doing the same setup but an aggressively built head in my next 2J that will hopefully be in a 70's 240Z, not a 240SX.
I have to sell the red Supra I have now with a 2J in it before that project start. Supra's in NY start selling around March since that is when the weather gets nice.
