Need some clarification if possible.

When looking at offsets, it's the width of the wheel that's important, not the height, right? so like 17x10, the 17 is unimportant, but the 10 is.

yes? no?

well the idea of 'rolling' fenders is to get rid of that lip inside your fender so you can have more room for rubber or for lower offset wheels

i dont really know where you're getting at but i hope that helps

Crack paint. Bad roll can make the outer of the fender warp or kink, but if your planning on repaint it shouldnt matter. Nothing too bad honestly.

fitment question. I've decited to go for a oem/mesh look. i'm thinking some GTA mesh wheels off of a 80's trans am. would it be possible? similar to crown vic meshes. I really want this wheel or some like it. any tips will be appreciated asap because I found a set for dirt cheap and would make my day if they fit.

http://www.tacreationsusa.com/firebird_wheels.htm#GTAWheels - this site has alot of into about the GTA wheel.

GTA wheel specs:

Size : 16" x 8"
Backspacing Front : 4.75"
Backspacing Rear : 5.25"
Bolt pattern : 4.75"
Material : Aluminum
Finish : Painted Centers/Cleared Lips

ok quick question. i currently have my mkiv tt rims on my mkiii without spacers but it looks horrible. i want to get them flush with the fenders. what kind of spacer do i need? aren't the rims hubcentric?

he doesn't need hub rings because the wheels are already Toyota 60.1mm; however, he needs hub-centric spacers if it's to be done correctly.. the idea is to cut down on vibration and to take sideward stress off the lugs IIRC.

have always wanted a set of these for a long time, then after seeing them on that famould mk3 sitting on lawn, just had to have some to copy the look..

as of last night, i finally bought some off yahoo auctions in japan so in 6-7 weeks time, should have them in my possession and i can decide if its worth buying a supra to fit them to cause they sure as fuck wont fit on my soarer..
unsure exactly of the specs but they are deff 18s, apparently 10.5" (275s look stretched on them so could even be 11s and at a guess +18 offset (no sticker on the rims so all unknown variables really..

eitherway, can atleast say ive owned a set of c5c2 panasprts!

I'll take some better photo's for you this weekend, and also get some rolling shot's as well. I like them enough, but not enough to keep them! Already buying my replacements, better quality and more width.

18X8.5 front, +38
18x9.5 Rear +45

the tires on them right now are 235/35/18 front & 255/40/18 rear. i dont like the fitment right now the tires are a little stretched what would be an appropriate size for the front and rear. Thanks in advance. ooh and its on lowering springs.

Thinking of getting 18 x 9.5 and 18 x 10.5 RPF1's on 245/40/18 tires. This is pretty much BorHor's set up just wanted to know if I'll need to run some spacers on them for the flushed fitment and if any fender rolling will be required. I'm pretty much decided on purchasing the RPF1's so if anyone here has recommendations on size and tire size please let me know!

O my car's on eibach lowering springs.

I agree, a huge domestic shame. turns out the bolt pattern is 4.75 = 120mm =( almost got them for a steal. now i'm looking into getting the BBS crown vic mesh et23. atleast they do fit and look amost just as good, tsk tsk. thanks breezen.

So quick question. I am curious to see if I have to worry about these wheels rubbing on my coils
18X9.5+30 front and rear.
The car is lowered as it is. I know fender work maybe needed but thats a big deal. just worried about the coils.
