Also, does anyone have any experience with putting 255s in front? There’s one or two examples of people who’ve fit them, but I was wondering how close they were?

Can't answer your questions about huge tires out back, biggest I've done was Mk4 9.5 w/ 275/40 tires. To answer your second question though, I put the same wheel/tire up front too. If your car is too low, you'll rub a good bit (when turning sharply) on the inside, making u-turns a bit more difficult. Think full-size pickup u-turns. ;)

HamsMKIII had 255/40/17 up front I reckon. 17x9 +35 wheel. 275/45/17 in the rear if I remember well. 17x10 +35

18x9.5 +24 offset, 18x10 +18 offset 5x114.3 bolt pattern

^^^ What would happen with some WORK EQUIPS of that size?:aigo:

Would these be "workable" with my Supra???

(Don't really need rims that are THIS DEEP but they are gorgeous!:biglaugh:)

My rims are 18"/+35 offset/8.5" front and 9.5" rear.
The question is: I will probably go with 225 front and 255 rear but does the both profile 35 or 40 fit?
Because 40 give a little more comfort and cost a little less... (lowered supra of course)
Thank!

Those will work, with a stretched tire, and rolled fenders. As for cost, they aren't cheap!!! I've seen similar examples for as much as $1800-$2000! One more thing to consider. If you were planning on big brakes(?) I'm betting that those low disc fronts, won't clear 4-pot calipers w/o a spacer. Those are a discontinued model wheel, and should draw a premium price.

Thank you for the input! I thought as much, and wish to be a bit more "conservative" with the setup, even though I'd still LOVE to have this model and style!

Maybe I'll find some with closer sizing for a more readily mountable fit.

Thanks,

those wheels would fit without too much work, it will look f**king hot but wont be functional because you'll have to run stretched rubber and increased camber at the back.

im running 9 +15 up front and 10 +22 at the back without any stretch and these specs aren't far off what you posted so it definately is achievable! good stance sets one supra apart from the next!

Whats up guys...im lookin in feb to get tires and wheels. i want to run 245/40/18's up front and out back i want to run 275/35/18's. ive herd this setup alot and seen it alot and think its bad ass.. is there any major things that i would have to do? from what i see poking through the thread id have to ren a +35 offset? help would be much obliged.

i run those exact tire sizes on my A70 - what will fit depends on the width and offset of your wheels.

im running 9 +15 up front and 10 +22 at the back. the front hangs a little, it would be perfect if it was say +25, the rear is perfect. with those offsets the car has to be lowered for it to look right as they are fairly aggressive offsets, guards probably need to be rolled as well IMO anything above +30ish in those width sits in too much when the car is lowered, but that's just my opinion - i like an aggressive stance.

pics? i was thinkin 8.5f 9.5r i dont want it too close to the fenders cause i kinda wanna avoid rolling them after i lower her.

8.5 front 9.5 rear with a +35 offset, will fit perfect might have to roll the rear if your going to drop it more than 2" this was the setup i had on my car and it works great.
