IMHO

Others can chip in.

Are there going to be any issues of rubbing with this setup? Im guessing tehre wouldnt be being that most setups imi seeing are 9.5, then the problems start.

thanks man. Im just starting to price this out and looking at discounttire.
They seem pretty good with the free mount and balance, and shipping.

Any tuner lug nuts. Difference with open and closed is.. one is open ended and one is closed :biglaugh:

Open usually bought by people with extended studs that can not clear closed studs.
Closed can help prevent rust build up on the studs.

Alright wheel Gurus, I need recomendations on wheel spacers for my rear tires:
Im running a MKIV N/A wheel with 25.5x12.0x16 goodyear slicks. I test drove it like this and only noticed a slight rub going around corners, these tires are only going to be used at the track. let me know what you think

-Oh, and I'm on stock suspension too

Thanks
-Sam

I was wondering if the following rims would be a good fit without rubbing. (Would seach the thread, but I cant search "40 mm")

I was looking at some wheels that are 17x7 with an offset of 40 mm.

I have H&R lowering springs all for corners with KYB GR2 shocks. The car sits really low in the front, not that much in the rear.

Would the 40mm offset rub? Would the wheels stickout too much? Or not enough? Thanks guys.

with a 7" wide rim you should have no problems rubbing. if it isn't now, then it shouldn't be an issue.

Couldn't find anything specific .... so what other vehicles with 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern will fit our cars ?? Will front drivers (eclipse/talon/laser) fit ?? I can find them used on CL all the time ... wondering if they work ...

They will "fit", (providing the hub bore is >60mm) but they won't look right. And you probably won't be able to find hub centric rings for them. Just stick with the 'blades', untill you can afford to get something nice (That fits!!!)
