Hey what kind of spacers are you running on this setup?:1zhelp:

Thought i would add mine to this since i have a new set on these days.
Fitment is 19/8.5 on the front with a +30 offset. Tyres are 235/35/19.
Rear is 19/10 with +35 offset. Tyres are 275/30/19.
Had some minor rubbing with this set up but did a small amount of arch work on the rears to cure it.

How could I make 18x11.5+16 fit the rear? What tire size would I run?

How bout' the guys running the knock-offs of the Mustang Cobra R rims .... do they need hub centering rings ??? I was looking at the ones on E-bay that are 17x9 with +24 offset .. I was gonna run them front and rear , what size tires to run H&R springs ?? and I don't mind running a bunch of camber ...

245 might work hahaha

and for the mustang wheels you should be able to clear a 245 tire all around with rolled fenders.

Thats up to you. Usually they should work fine with out it but if there is vibration get some.

I've tried reading through most of the thread, and saw that Borhor has 17x10's in the rear. Would it be possible to fit a wider tire on the rim so it wouldn't have the 'stretched look'? Secondly, Borhor have you just rolled your fenders or rolled and pulled?

You just have to consider a few factors

1. Fender modification
2. Wheel offset and width
3. Ride Height
4. Suspension camber

For example, talking about rear wheels...if you want to be able to fit 295s on a 10" wheel

1. Roll the fenders
2. Offsets in the high 30s and low 40s
3. You could have a relatively low ride height
4. You don' t need any negative camber.




BTW, Bor...I was just joking around with my questions on the 11.5s...I actually gave some thought on the fitment prior to posting. Since I rolled and flared my fenders, 10.5+18 wheels (w/265 tires) are sunk inside the fender.

I dropped the car more. Also I wanted the wheel to poke out...so I added 15mm spacers, to a different set of rims with the same 10.5+18 offset, pictured below.

I want the same look above without using spacers. So I could go either 10.5+3 or 11.5+16. Since I want to try a wider rim, I'll be going 11.5+16s w/ 265 tires (but first I have to see if there is enough inside clearance.)

Ordered my lo-buck wheel and tires today ..... 17x8 +22 MB Motoring Competitions wrapped in 235x45 Nankang NS-1's ....... shipped to the door for $783 .... I know ... conservative compared to most , but I think they'll look pretty sweet after the car's dropped on some H&R's ....

I have a question. I see some people example have 225/50 for fronts and 235/45 tires for the rear. Should it be 225/50 front and 235/50 rears? Why are some running smallers in the rear?

(I'm not considering the width of the rim in my response below)

225/50 front, yields a 112.5mm height
235/45 rear, yields a 105.75mm height.

Unless the owner likes the appearance of the rear to tire to be shorter than the front, the combo should be:

225/50 front
255/45 rear (114.75mm height)

225/50 front and 235/50 rear is okay too.

the back 235 or 245- 40-18 back

X 2 Maybe you need some aftermarket fender flares and cut the stock fenders out.
