^Speedy: 18x8.5 w/ a 45mm offset will fit, but a 35mm looks better for that size. Also, the 9.5's, will be an easier width to run out back, unless you're willing to roll the hell out of the fenders, especially running 19's! If you absolutely have to have the 19's...19x9.5", w/ a 35mm and a 275/30-19 tire should fit just fine. Personally, I would stay away from 19's, there are so many cool choices in 18's and 17's ('Old school JDM') and you can run a little taller tire, which will help save a rim sometimes!!!:icon_razz

Those sound like Mustang offsets. We have trouble fitting wheels that big without making compromises. You have to choose between ride height and tire size if you want to run a wheel that wide.

What are your plans for this car? Purely car shows or do you want it to work properly on the track or street? If it's the latter, you should consider how badly you need a 10" wide wheel. Most people on here have no need for that much wheel or tire. Running something that wide, and probably heavy, will just make the car slower. Just run a 9.5" wheel with a 275 and be happy.

Hello all I am a new member here and the fourm is quite helpful by the way thanks for all the useful information. Anyway I was about 2 purchase a set of wheels 4 my mkIII supra and here's my issue..... after reading every page of this fourm I find that not many people who posted their run 19" wheels except 4 maybe 2 people with pics of their wheels on their supras no specs i.e. offsets and tire sizes at this piont I can't remember if they did post cause i read every post on every page 2 see if info was already posted. This way it avoids double posts.
OK the wheels are kickass but the offsets are wierd:

In the front: 18 x 8.5 (45 offset) 3 inch lip

In the rear i wanna run a 19 x10.5 inch wheel
there are 2 offsets: 25 and 35 no idea which offset is better any suggestions
What tire sizes are recommended 4 this fittment.....anyone
I am positive there is fender rolling involved by the way my supra ride height is currently stock i will lower the car after the fender rolling and tires are fitted. I don't want 2 sound dumb but would 19 x 9.5 in rear with the same offsets fit better. As I never seen a post 4 a 10.5 inch wide wheel in the rear with stock body lines maintained minus the fender rolling issue. I mean better 2 be safe than stupid as my supra is daily driver not track bound.
Thanks for any help.

I had 10.5" in the rear before ;)

As for the right size and offset a 10.5 will fit but you will need to stretch the tire, a 275 might fit with a roll. To be safe go 19x9.5 +35 with a 275 since that is the most safe size and offset for most people and they genrally sit nice.

But I am sure you can get a 10.5 +35 on there. It is all up to the look you are going for as everyone else said.

Since we are talking about 19''s.....:biglaugh:

I am really interested in the following rims/tire combo:
Well these 19's come only in this size: CRUIZE 136 ALLOY brand wheels.
Front 8.5' x 19' ET35 with 2 tire choises...235-35/19' & 245-35/19'.
Rear 9.5' x 19' ET35 with 2 tire choises...265-35/19' & 275-35/19'.

These wheels on a mk4 supra:

My Supra has Azev (from Germany) wheels for now :
Front 8.5' x 17' with 225-45/17' tire, Rear 10' x 17' with 255-40/17' tire.

p1226159_6.jpg

Will the Cruize (with the above specs/offset) rims fit ok on my car with eibach pro kit & tokicos? I don't want to roll the fenders...
And what do you think about the general style/looks of them for a
mk3 supra? :sarcasm:

I do want to go 19' cause I sold the front brakes (oem 302mm brembo rotor with Endless 4 pot caliper)
cause I got myself a very rare new front BIG brake kit from Japan...and which I have under my bed for
almost a year...hard to find rims that I like and clear the big 6 pot 355mm (14") brakes...which were originaly made for a competition/race spec mk4,but ordered for a mk3 :

How about this setup; 18x9 e24 fronts and 18x10 e22 rears with 255 35 18 and 295 30 18 respectively. So you guys think that I can get away with just rolling the fenders. Oh, and the car is lowered about 2 inches and I am considering getting some stance or megan coilovers soon. Thanks.

After looking through the first 50 pages I didnt find the exact set up that Im interested in. Im looking at:
18x8.5 +20 w/ 225/40/18
18x9.5 +25 w/ 245/40/18

I dont mind rolling fenders. And this is on RS*R race springs with hopefully 0 camber.:icon_surp
Should fit yeah?

^ will fit with the natural camber you will get. There is almost no way you will get 0 camber with a lowered MK3. If you some how do get 0* then it will not clear.

I don't know a whole lot about rims and tires but I'd like to kinda learn. Anyhow, I've wanted to get some sportmax 962's and have basically the same setup that BorHor had on the first page. I found 18x8.5 but I can't seem to find that rim in 18x9.5. I was hoping for the 18x9.5 in the back cos it has a 3.25" lip and so the front would have 2".

When I looked up 18x9.5 it said "Bolt Pattern 4-100/114.3" does that mean it's a 4 bolt style and it won't work on my car?

PS my car is an 86.5 supra, just to make things clear.

Yup that means it is 4 bolt style so it will not work.

This is correct but it is also worth mentioning that the 4x100/114.3 means that there will be 8 holes. This allows the rim to be more versatile but many feel that it takes away from the look of the wheel.

Fitment me:

I wanna rock 18x9.5's all the way around.

The offset selection's are....

+12
+30
+40
+25
+35

In the rear and aswell as the front I want them flush as possible.

I have D2 coilovers so its going to help a lot.

I don't mind stretching tires, such as a 225/40.

I was looking at 2 threads:

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showpost.php?p=817602&postcount=43

and

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showpost.php?p=847134&postcount=210

Should i just wing it with a +12?

I'm not really trying to pull my fenders out, not really roll them either.

But worse comes to worse i'll consider it.

Theirs a shit load of posts about this stuff and you guys know your stuff like no other so i'd figure i'd post this.

thanks

Sawbladz, thanks for the response. How this setup then: 18x9 e36 fronts and 18x10 e45 rears with 255 35 18 and 295 30 18 respectively.

I changed the offset...that is the only other offset that was offered. Thanks.

Take a look at this post. It will show you what you want to see. Pretty much same offsets and tire widths. However, take note of the ride height. I have no idea what would happen if it was slammed.

would 18x9.5 +30 fit up front with 235/40 or should i go 225/40?
what's the best fit without any rolling or pulling of the fenders?

I have seen a 18x9.5 +35 fit a 275/35 with a roll. So that means you can go 235 no problems.
