Unless you run spacers, there will be rubbing issues at full lock. This is not dependent on tire size, this is due to the wheel offset. Mine rubbed with 225's up front. On the N/A wheels, I would run 245/45 rear and 225/50 front.

Yup the offset is too high on the MK4 wheels. I would run atleast a 8mm spacer up front to help with the rubbing.
Anyone ever tried running:

Just a simple roll and you will be good.
Well thats just whats on the wheels in question although id prefer to go with 255 or 265 but if a 245 requires a roll, then those tires might be out of the question. Just wanted to make sure the +30 offset doesnt hit anything on the inside of the well. ie. shock or spring
Nope it will clear the inside fine. Your problem now is the fender. You might be able to fit more meat depending on how your set up is. I had a 17x10 +25 fit a 255 tire and it had a tick wall closer to a 265 or 275.
hey yall im a new member but not new to the site, which is the cats ass btw...anyway im thinkin bout runnin 19x9.5 +35 sportmax front and rear...first, will this work and second what size tires would be moderately stretched on these wheels since ill b lowered on coilovers.thanks
9.5+ 35 will look wack with a a stretched tire.. there is a member ,s0ulstar, who has has 275 tires all around and it is flush. If you want to have a stretched tire look please go with a lower offset or else it will look like crap.
Could I fit 1996 Mustang cobra wheels out back, with 275/40/17s on them, they are 17x8s, 5.72" backspacing with a 30mm offset. Just want to know if I will need a roll.

I agree with Boris. Stretched tires with my setup doesen't look right. I'm running 275/35 all round. The fronts are flush, but the rears could use a 5mm spacer to make the wheel flush with the fender. I'm lowered on Tokico/Eibach with only rubbing on the fronts during hard cornering. But I have since, rolled my fenders and now I don't have ANY rubbing issuesbluspd;1013309 said:

These have only been on two widebody A70's so the WB A70 is all i can gaurentee they fit...
These are BIG and WIDE wheels and despite the fact you can just bolt them on and drive away, you would be silly not to do some minor work to the gaurds. Work aka roll the lip on the rear gaurds and remove the plastic liner on the front gaurds. You would only need to do this when running a low ride height with soft suspension. And or if you plan on retaining 100% drivability of the car.
HOWEVER, all of the pics below of the green car, are 100% stock standard gaurds WITH liners. Athough I did experience rubbing of the front gaurds upon heavy cornering.
If you have standard ride height with stiff suspension chances are you dont have to touch a thing.

Very nice, crazy how those 20's fit. Well i bought some new wheels also two of them, except they dont fit the supra since their attached to a 2005 kawasaki z750s.:biglaugh:That means more time to work on the supra.:evil2:
