The 32, 35 set would be better for you then that way you will not need a roll. Depending on how low your car gets when it is compressed you can get away with not rolling in the rear. You might need it though.

i want that flush look like yours but i don't want it to stick out too much so if i ran the 20 and 25 offset how much would i need to roll and is it hard?

so how much would i need to roll for that offset (just an estimate)? my friend rolled his fenders on his rx-7 so he can help me but i just was wondering if you had an rough estimate on how much to roll. if it helps the rims are ADR Spartan black/polished lip.

Just wanted to double check that all the wheel sizes and offsets listed are somewhat "perfect" fits? like no rubbage or grindage issues whatsoever?

Coz I'm particularly interested in the 18x9.5 setup. As if the 9.5's dont clear properly I'll go for 8.5's.

I'm also looking to get all 4 wheels the same size, nothing against bigger rears, I'm just not a fan.
18x9.5 +35 all around fits great! you actually have to put a 5mm spacer in the rear for the wheel to sit flush with the fender. you don't have to worry about rubbing with stock suspension. I'm rolling on Tokico HP's (the blue ones) w/ Eibach Pro Kits. very minimal rubbing. slightly rubs on dips when i'm going fast through them as well as fast cornering. other than that, NO PROBLEMS!

ok not going to try the 19's....

How bout this setup...

Eibach lowering springs and Tokico blues

Front: +20mm offest 18 x 8.5 with 245/40 tires.

Rear: +25mm offset 18 x 9.5 with 275/35 tires.

I'm guessing it would rub excessively due to the wheels sticking out too far, especially in front?

I can't figure out what I'm riding on now because I don't know the offset of the wheels (on the car when I bought it) and there is also what appears to be 3/4inch wheel spacers installed. Too bad, cuz I think the fitment looks just right, but its 17inch wheels.........

That is way too much tire for the rear. It will be close or even passed the fender. Fronts will fit easy though with just a roll.

sorry if this offends, but have you checked the inside of the rim for the offset? I'm not trying to imply anything just asking.

Coz I'm pretty sure but not 100% that wheels have all the details stamped, engraved or made part of the casting. I know all the wheels I've looked at have the offsets imprinted on the wheel. Stock ones are just about always outside and easy to see, and most aftermarket have the offset inside just on the mounting hub.

im in a debate on rims right now.... not sure which would be better for a daily car. i *plan* to run a set of H&R Springs + Tokico Illuminas (w/ TEMS)
Either... F/R16x8+ 25 OR F17x8+22 R17x9+27

tires for 16'' 235/50/16 up front, and 245 or 255/50/16
tires for 17'' 235/45/17 up front, and 255+/45/17

Im trying to get the best "bang for my buck" kind of combo here... the biggest benefit i see of running 16'' is getting tires would be REALLY easy... but now a days theres TONS of cars that have 17'' stock too...

What are the widest tires I can fit on N/A MKIV wheels? 16x8, 16x9 without major rubbing/clearance issues?

You aren't limited by space, you are limited by what manufacturers make in a 16" size. Good luck finding anything wider than a 255 which is not a competition tire.

Oh nice, I thought there were some rubbing issues if the tire stuck out a bit more than the wheel, I'll see what I can find.
