ok i checked a week or so ago and someone provided a link with pics of 19's on Supraforums. thanks.
But now my rims showed up and they sent me the wrong sizes...
Ordered 19 x 8.5 and 9.5's with 35 offset. Intended on 235/35 and 275/30's.
But showed up is 19x10.5 and 19x9.5. :1zhelp:
Or did I measure wrong, last I checked its from one side of the rim to the other, w/out the tire on.... am i doing it wrong? I thinky they sent me wrong sizes.
But lets say i keep these (don't want to deal with shipping, not certain of how reputable the seller is either)....
will this work... 19x9.5 with 235/35 fronts and 19x10.5 with 275/30 rears. All 35 offset....
I don't really want the looks of a tread patch that appears alot more narrow than the rim (at least not for the rears anyways). I calc'd the tread width and I thought I came out at 10.88inch tread width for 275's.... So I figured that would make the tire sidewall look 'flush' with the rim's edge. But am I wrong? I see pics of 275's on 9.5inch rims and that looks pretty flush. Rim an inch wider may look 'angled' and I was trying to avoid this. Why is this, because the tread 'wraps' around just a tad once its installed? Or am i just nuts and the tire sidewall will still look fairly flush with the rim's edge as I intended.
oh yeah, the car is lowered tokico blues and H&R springs... but that's why i got THIN side walls..... hopin' they fit under the fenders not too bad. :nono:
