yep, 89, so 3.73 gears

137 isn't bad...

been far faster in an audi A8 in germany... cruising at 125MPH and it would pass with ease at that speed...

I hope you weren't too far from your local service station. Our cars are way too heavy to try pushing anywheres............:biglaugh:

When you got good legs it's not as bad. Doesn't make it much more pleasant though. -_-

Tach reads 5000 at this point, I got it to 145 that day. I estimate by judging the tach reading at both speeds that my car is capable of just about 160 at 6500, and it felt like it could get there too, just started running out of road.

I've gone this fast with and without the targa on. Targa off wasn't that big of a deal, just kinda loud. I cruise at 110 with it off all the time. My exhaust was at about 1400 degrees according to my gauge.

Transmission is unmodified. 7m isn't.

negatory... the owner's manual says NOTHING about high speeds with the targa off...

it's perfectly safe as long as the road conditions allow it (and well, if your car is in good working order)

over 100 with the top off and it gets odd as the air rushes over the opening instead of into the car...

I've hit 175km/h (109~mph) and I wasn't even trying and it also didn't feel not one bit scary or unstable or anything of the such. Don't know the top speed of it and I don't have a theoretical limit with a digital dash but doing 109mph was without a sweat.

My stock speedo said 40, but it was already wrapped around once, and my tach was back to the 1. So what's that, like 240mph? Yeah, my mod list is pretty secret. But it is WAY faster than Duane's or IJ's.

I manage to hit nearly 240 km/h but not sure whether my speedo meter is reading correctly. My mods are just stock 1J with HKS boost controller, AUTO transmission, 4.10 torsen final gear and 265/35/18 tyre.

You were going around 145-150 mph, if that was converted to MPH, but the speedo tends to go off after 120 MPH, so who knows

I don't believe this would apply to those with a GT Limited (Digital Dash?)
