^^^ 169. Damn, you beat me. LOL.

169? damn, i estimated 160. i guess I get to make even more fun of my mom for having a slower car than me (her retort is that her car runs, which does have something to go for it...)(she had a Grand Prix GTP, now she has a VW Passat)

or maybe i shouldn't mention that i supposedly went that fast.....(i say supposedly because i don't trust any of these numbers; i'd rather dig up my old SouthernLinc {same as Nextel just diff. company} and use its GPS to check)
Anybody wanna buy a Motorola i315? :D

this summer, I took my friends 07 gixxer 1000 to a little over 180. I know those speedos are off, but it was still going. My friend hit the limiter which for all japanese bikes from the factory is 186 (300km). With my supra (when it was still running) I hit 150 once or twice.

*shits pants* Hooo-ly shit. lol Must have been invigorating. I guess if I had one I'd do the same thing, though. Ya know, just take it out for a little 0-120 run every morning to officially wake myself up before going to school.

IJ: I HOPE that most of the people on these forums don't run on H rated tires...

Kumho Ecsta SPT's Y rated in stock tire size...

I run on V rated tyres up to 149 mph. Can't really see me going above that so no need for Z rated tyres for me.

p.s how do you get that mood thing?? I looked in user CP and couldn't see it

Poodles: So far most of the fast guys have been on Z's ;)
Z tires are also a softer compound. They stick better but they also wear out quicker. I know a few that use regular street tires for DD and they just use the Z's for the track.

Offtopic a little, but I was wondering about my Nitto 555r's. I'm thinking about getting a set to run all the time and I know they're made for the track, but are they made to run 140mph on a short highway run? Does anyone have any knowledge of these tires?

IJ, I see your raising your hand in the back of the class.........what do you know about this?

275/45ZR18 and 23540ZR18.....Z-Rated FTW. Even though most with them will never take true advantage of the "high speed" rating.

I <3 Topspeed pulls.
