first off I would like to thank everyone for the kind words regarding my old blue car it was alot of work but it i think if i had to think about who inspired me i would have to say yaz yasano he used to work at sard japan. he was the one who had told me about the 1jz supra in japan (jza70) and from that point on i tried to make my supra super jdm. i also found inspiriation within alot of the guys in japan that were modding supras like the guys at marcy auto imports, and ysr japan. I think most of all we should find inspiration to build our cars in ourself becuase you can find inspiration in other people however that can always change. people who believe in themselves will always go along way. thanks again guys

Wow, I must say this is a great thread! I can't beleive it's taken me this long to read through it. I'm such a slacker! lol! I certainly didn't expect to see my name here... Thanks, you guys made my day!

My fav MKIII/biggest inspiration is by far Ron R's car. Dead sexy!! It has it all...looks, power, cleanliness, and amazing engineering. Some of my other favs are Mello's old car, Adam's burnout pics and tech, and Dan's 1J car. Also, Duane's new engine bay is tits to say the least! If it doesn't give everyone something to strive for nothing will! Oh, also Mike U's blue car, Ronnie K's, SupraA70's, it goes on and on!

I keep coming across more and more MKIII's that I love as time goes by. There are several others that I've left out, so to anyone I've forgotten I apologize.

mine is EASILY Rajunz car.

He knows what he drives the car for, he has nothing to prove. He takes his time with the car, everything is about attention to detail. He treats the car as he does his own breathing child.

its sexy in all different dimensions, its well done, it works, everything is functional. he does all his own work and does it well. not to mention his car reflects alot of his personality and his lifestyle.

great guy, great car...definately an inspiration to me.

My favorite car is also Ron Ramirez's black mk3. duane's white one is a close second, both those cars have inspired me to build my car.

When I first purchased my car in 1998, I just was really enthused about the way it looked and how smooth it drove. I paid 4200 bucks and it was my first real car (other than my high school shitkicker) I still have it.

This car is one of my all time favorites - although not my inspiration. I think it belongs to a guy named John from West Palm Beach, FL

HOLY CRAP!!!! Every once in a while when I go to the house of a friend of mine's Ron R.'s car is just around the corner!!! I've always stood in reverence of that car... that and the sport of drifting are probably what inspired me most, you dont see many mk3's drifting, and I wanted to stand out a bit, plus when I was flipping through auto trader, I saw an n/a '88 for $1750, so we went to the dealer, and bought me my first car ever, and now I'm doing a turbo swap.

My grandmother was the first. She introduced me to Supras back in 89 when she bought an N/A targa. She's the one that convinced my dad to let me get my 87T. Shawndude and Dr. Jones are my role models. Just awesome guys who know WAY too much, and are so eager to share their findings. As for cars, I must say Ron's is a dream. There is absolutely no denying that Ultra7M has one gorgeous engine bay, but I don't think I'll ever aspire to make things THAT shiney under the hood. Lastly, myself. I have so many ideas right now, from interior workings, to fabbing up new technology, the list just grows and grows. As an end note I want to say that the community here is what keeps my hopes alive. The community is probably my biggest inspiration.

Let's take it back old school and raise this thread back from the past. I was first inspired by my friend, Sofro's, car.

17 years ago, a friend invited me to come along to a 1 year old boy's bday party. I didn't know the parents. When I met the kid's father, Sofro, he says to me "I have a Supra too. Wanna see it?" We walked to his garage and I was floored.

I was in such awe, I was inspired to fix up my car and emulate Sofro. (Prior to the visit to Sofro's son's bday party, I had little interest in fixing up my Supra.)
