There is a scrubber that I believe is made by 3M that will quickly remove pinstriping and other stickers without damaging the paint.

The only issue is the paint is more than likely not aged under the stickers, so you'll notice the paint is more white compared to the rest.

You're lucky you have a pre-89 front bumper, if you had an 89+ with the stock lip...well, you'd be missing the lip or have rolled it under along with the bottom of the bumper...

Take some time to heal up, and dont rush it too much. Back/neck surgury is nothing to shake off casually.

Get well soon man!

^ What he said! Find someone in lower alabama to babysit your car while you heal, because you know the car is what got you there in the first place. You don't need to bend over that thing for a good while.

mods....can we get this thread closed for the good of it's owner?

Good luck on the heal Ken! Glad I got around the surgery thing for now.

only have the passenger side left to put on. the dummy who tried to put it on messed up the driver and middle sides.. he put too many holes in it... he tried to be creative with my spoiler...ugh!! i should post pics of his mistake, when i get a chance i will put some pics of it.

my engine is one of those jdm onese with less then 50k miles on it. it used to run but another dummy did something to it that i wont start, she's been sitting in the building garage with a cover over it so that the indoor pigeons wont poop on it too much....lol

Dude, the sore throat must be from the breathing tube, those things suck. Your body has been through major trauma and now is on serious narcotics, a little feaver is nothing. But it will get better each day and soon you wont even remember that it hurts. (14 days in the hospital with pins in my leg and bone taken off my hip...and lots of morphine later, I know what Im talking about)

Try to think about all the fun you are gonna have boosting! and making that car tight.

My neckgina:biglaugh: It's taped and has tampon strings hanging out.

My new best friends. 200 Lortabs aka Vicodin

I haven't taken any pain meds yet this morning so I'm feeling somewhat lucid. I took a shower this morning and that alone made me feel a little better. My throat still hurts when I swallow but it no longer makes me want to cry. I feel nerves waking up in my upper back and shoulders so I'm beginning to get stiff and sore there. Still running a low grade temp but advil knocks that out quickly. I'm tempted to edit my previous posts but I find them kinda funny and honestly don't remember too much about posting them! So for clarity's sake. C7 was ruptured pretty bad. Much worse than he expected. C6 was herniating, which we already knew from the MRI, so he fixed that as well. So I believe I have 2 plates and 8 screws.
Unfortunately my supra will be neglected for the next few weeks so I can concentrate on me. I'll post updates on my recovery every other day.

Are you saying Ken needs a collar to keep from licking himself? :sarcasm:

No way that can happen, at least not now. Give a few weeks to get limbered back up.:biglaugh:

This is a brief animation of my surgery. There is video on Youtube of an actual Anterior Cervical Fusion but I can't it to work when I paste the link.

The car has come a long way since last year. Now, you need to take some time out and mend yourself. The car will be there waiting when you are all better. Wishing you a safe recovery!
