I don't have anything to take pictures of. Since I put the interior back together and took those pics, I've done nothing to it. (Looks damn good with those seats don't it?;)) I guess I can snap some photos of it sitting there with greasy hand prints all over it.
I'll hopefully have some news later next week.

Linc, it's 30 something degrees up here. My car will just have to stay dirty for just a little while longer.

Apparently I have a pretty bad oil leak somewhere. My guess is from the oil return line on the oil pan. That or from the turbo. I'll have to jack it up and crawl underneath there to find and fix. Hopefully no biggie. Since the drive shaft is out transmission fluid was flying out the back as well.

It seems to idle ok but has somewhat of a miss when I rev it. No check engine light yet, and I highly emphasize YET.

Nice shovel :evil2:

I got that idea from seeing it in Vixens build thread somewhere. So you can credit Jay for that. The hood struts aren't completely shot but it will fall after a few minutes.

Scott, I was so excited earlier that any boobies would have done, but now that I've come down off that high a little, I'd rather it be Kristel who gives me lots of happy dances, or Serena (wetboosteddreams) I'm so infatuated with her. I don't think she comes around my thread any though.

Congratulations Ken. Glad to hear you finally got it cranked up. What was the starter problem BTW?

Also, a pair of vise grips locked onto the hood struts work wonders.

ooohhh i cant wait to hear that sound as well. oh and I WANT YOUR SEATS!!!!

Those seats would look great in your car too.:stickpoke:evil2:
You know I'm sad for you (way happy for me) that you got that nice of a shell without the front seats. I sold my grey cloth ones to Bluechaluppa. I wanted that whole car but shipping would have been $$$$$. Still worth it though since the car is so nice. Anyway.

UH Oh! I think the mention of other boobies may have cut down on your true prize. Kristel is usually more excited on a first crank.

I was grateful to get just that.

Thanks!!! The starter problem is STILL the weak wiring. Putting the jumper cables on it and using my truck to help crank it pretty much confirms it. The extra amperage from my truck helped get past the weakness and engage the starter. Once I took the cables off, it was back to just click click. New battery too. It's still needs to be corrected and I've got a solution in the works...hopefully, I need to make a call and find out.

Vice grips!! Why didn't I think of that?::dunce::

New hood struts are only $19.99 ea. at O'reiley's and other parts stores. That's cheaper than a good shovel or a pair of craftsman vise grips!

Yeah, I had just bought some new ones for the grey car right before I sold it. I think I paid $18 buck each for them. I should just go buy some. The rear hatch struts are completely shot. It's a bitch to open it up, it's so damn heavy. I do NOT look forward to fixing those. You have to pull most of the rear interior out.

True, but the vise grips are most likely already paid for.
