Looks nice man! I've got Cobra R's on the 91. Some hate, I think it looks fresh!

I love five spoke wheels on mkiii's! Wish I could find a set of Cobra or SVT wheels for a decent price. Mount 'em on some sticky tires, switch out the center caps, and drive :icon_bigg

Mustang wheels pretty much universally look good on our cars. There's someone on here with FR500s as well, and they look really stunning. My personal favorite is the 99 Cobra wheels, which arent unpopular regardless of car. I cant remember who on here has them (white 89+ that has "Lagger" on a blue license plate IIRC)

FINALLY had her first Dyno/Tune session. I was rather surprised/happy with the results.

335 rwhp/ 350 wtq

1jz, AEM V2 ECU, Stock turbos, intercooler, Walbro 255, test pipe, 3" Tanabe Hyper Medallion, 200 Amp Alternator, ~15-16 psi
that was good motivation to keep on going with the car.

and also polished the engine bay over the past 2 weeks, installed the AEM, Wideband, and Alternator.

Just rewired my two "Walmart" subs to run 2 ohms instead of 8. Louder and cleaner than my friends 12 inch Alpine type R? Yup! Cheaper too.. I spent half as much...

Picked up the red 89 for dirt cheap. Going to swap some parts around, sell the GE motor and trans along with some interior bits then eventually LS it.

What's your amp and/or deck rated at for 2 ohms?

Well it wasnt all today but i worked on the interior. I stripped out the front and rear seats along with all of the paneling. Stripped seats, cleaned off surface rust where present and painted with Rustoleoum (black), made new listing straps, recovered seats, rear panel pieces, and door card.

Black license plate ;)
Thanks a lot. I had some custom center caps made too. Ill have to post them up here soon.
99 cobra aluminum wheels. They aren't the chrome ones. I decided against the chrome, because I think I like the look of these a little better than the chrome.

No sir. Different guy. I am from Iowa, and I just bought my Supra a little over a year ago. Just to clear up any confusion.
Please do not get me confused with that guy, as I do not have the same personality or opinions as him.

And to keep on topic, I drove it to and from school, and do not plan to work on it much, until either something goes wrong, or the previous owner decides if he can buy it back.
Then I can buy a new MKIII or MKII and have a fresh starting platform possibly with a 2j already in it. If he can't buy it back, I will be starting my 7m build.

Pictures of wheels as promised. Sorry the car is extremely dirty, I haven't had a chance to clean it for at least a few weeks. The wheels clean up with very little work, so I may have to get new pictures after I get a wash in.

It really is a shame that the Mk3 is hard to come by with black interior that's original. Fits the car so well...

Please tell me you're getting rid of those stripes? Otherwise looks good. :)

Oh, and hi-five to emerica, on a possible Mk2 in the future. They're fun cars, and different enough from the Mk3 that I can appreciate both of them. Actually just found out that mine has worn grooves from the pinion seals on the diff, so... yeah. Get to put up with a slow leak for now.
