I have been tempted to get the beech V2 short shift kit from DM but have not been able to find many reviews on it, how do you like it so far overall?Atlas;2001210 said:Installed the Beech V2 short shift kit. This thing is short and takes some effort to row the gears. That could be due to my shot syncros. Dropped by Marlin Crawler and got a quote to rebuild the tired R154. Definitely gonna have that done for the summer. Also installed front and rear tower bars...Gonna see if there is a felt difference at the Marina autox. Also got some AC Delco reman front calipers and stoptech pads to replace my stock calipers and worn EBC yellows. Fingers crossed that the brake refresh will give a better pedal feel so I'm not locking up going deep into corners :evil2:

Sweet thanks man I look forward to itAtlas;2001228 said:So far it's a very tight shifter. I installed it with the Marlin Crawler HD socket bushing. I put some grease on the brass shifter seat and around the shifter ball assembly to prevent premature wearing while I'm breaking it in. It sits lower than the stocker, and takes some effort to shift. Though I'm sure that the condition of my synchros makes the shifter feel more difficult than it actually is.
After I get some more time with it and a couple of autocross events, I'll post a better review
