Yeah, but there are other ways to get more gear out of a th350 as well. Im sure GV makes an overdrive kit.

I was simply making a point that there is no need to go to a th400. Hell, for all I know, he could have a 5 speed still in the car.

BTW, I dont believe in teasers. I will be watching the vids as they hit the internet.

Friday if the weather holds out. As of right now it forecasts 66* and partly cloudy, but i havent trusted weathermen in years, so who knows.

If it were an automatic, I would call it more along the lines of, manually selecting the gear you are in. Manually shifting implys a clutch.

Not knocking autos, I would love to have one myself, and have been kicking myself for not getting an auto 1jz swap over a 5 speed. Then I would be going to the guy who has a chance of kicking duane's ass to get built, I have seen his rebuilds withstand over 600whp and constant abuse (MKIV auto)

You may have to click it into gear manually but that is not a clutch operated H pattern transmission my friend. :nono: I dont blame you for going that route. Im just kicking myself because I almost did it myself but chickened out and decided to give the R154 another go. My car wont be on the dyno till monday so that means my first pass will be in Vegas.

Auto is where it is at if you want consistancy and being able to handle the power. Rachet shifter = manual right LOL! Duane is buying the first round of capachinnos for everyone since he knocked the auto so hard at the beginning of this thread. HAHAHA

LOL I didn't say I didn't like them, I said if you can drink coffee down the 1320 ;) I can do that but it will be all over the place...HAHAHAHAHAHA

I chose this route for reasons OTHER than being consistant and being faster.

On a side note: Running this kinda of power is no easy task and I can say that from my last few passes on my T88. Testing on new turbo in 2 days as weather looks good so far! :icon_bigg (I just hope my skinnies show up in time.)
