Well, its not really me you're rooting for. I'm just the crewman/shot-caller/experimenter/cross-country driver in this deal. Its Shawn's car/driving/$ going into this deal with a couple of my donated parts.
I just hope our low-tech, low-$, spare-parts having supra can hang with the million dollar mkIII....and I suspect it will....

This should be a great turnout. I only wished my wife and I could make it to see this MKIII carnage. It should definately be the best represented MKIII showing.........ever!

Jay trust me i got this and i call thazt duane has an auto and im gonna leave it at that he can tell the rest.
The car is not an "automatic", I have to shift it manually like you Jay, don't mind these guys.

I think its missing a Clutch though and is using a TC in its place as well as only 3 speeds. That dose not make it a manual tranny if all he is doing is hitting the shifter to select the next gear :icon_razz

I cannot wait untill I am one day out playing with the big boys. Unfortunately, I dont think that my MKIII will have a shot at taking any title, at any event anytime soon, if ever. The only chance I have against duane would be a 40-120 pull, off the bottle, him starting in 4th, giving me a car and the hit.
There are other reasons to go beyond the 350... like an overdrive gear for those 130mph freeway cruises.foreverpsycotic;1132023 said:
