Hey, it is streetable, to some people that is a street car. To me, if it can survive in stop and go traffic for an hour and do the same route without traffic under 4k rpm at 75mph, it is a street car.

A "street" car IMO is something that you can drive anywhere, Vegas for example, which I've done twice Driving in traffic for an hour doesn't cut it and you know it. You sound just as bad as the domestic guys and their 7 second tubbed mustangs calling them street cars. :rofl:

I bet if I brought a box of 7M head gaskets I could pay for my trip by selling them to you guys after the race. :biglaugh:

I have seen more 2J engines blow up than 7M's personally You wanna piece of a 7M? I'll be there and a few others to show you how it's done.

Why couldn't you drive a th350 car anywhere?

I guess I should say that they "could" be street cars but everyone has a different opinion on the term. The 4000 stall which is talks about having doesn't make it a comfy to drive as rpm's are high and heat can be a major issue. Yes, technically you can drive it but not something you can realistically drive on long road trips.

Duane - I have a 3200 stall now and it drives like normal. No throttle in drive it will roll away just like a stock converter. I have a 4000 in my BB impala and is not hard to drive anywhere. it crusies at 3000rpm at 60mph. I have to force the converter to 4000 with the tranny brake or foot brake. but believe me, it wants to drive away at 2300 rpm.

I haven't raced my car at all this year and last year once since the clutch issues.. 2 years ago is when I was racing my Supra frequent and that's how long you've been racing. I had 620 RWHP at the time and you have 720RWHP and still haven't beat my time aka you're still slower. Can you explain that to me? :icon_razz All I hear is you making an excuse for when you lose. (which I understand)

Rich: Heat would be more of an issue for the transmission
